  1. Awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this and to share it with us!
  2. Very true. Why not an F-14? Or a Mirage? Or something else?
  3. Awesome! I wish they would make a worthy Top Gun game .... but thank you for sharing
  4. Bough it. Played it. Beat it. Don't waist your money. I mean its a nice rainy day game but nothing like the on COD. It does however get challenging in the final missions and is damn near impossible to beat but the graphics and the sounds just suck. NES could've done a better job of. This company that did the game does trucking stuff like 18 wheels of steel and that kind of thing .... which is why all the enemy trucks looked so darn good and everything else on the crappy side. Oh and sorry the way delayed response I've been busy as hell lately.

  6. lol Well I'm glad the thread isn't a waist of time after all. Well I'm interested in how it will be played out as far the story goes. So many people, I think need to see this, its not about race or anything its about overcoming something many people said could never be done. It's about not giving up, and winning against the odds. ... (sounds like something Charlie Sheen would say ... but I didn't mean it that way) I like these kind of stories where an underdog does something that blows people away. Where the Redtails never lost an friendly to another enemy fighter ... they lost some to ground fire but then again there wasn't anything they could do about it. But Hollywood has a funny way of freaking things up .... see example: Dragonball Z, and so many other movies. I've also heard there was all an black battalion or something that was at the battle of the bulge or blitzkrieg or something I'm not sure but that's something I'd like to look into as well. I'm also wondering if women played a role in any of these wars. I remember hearing about the WASP program and of course the women stateside filled the factories and baseball diamonds. Put I'm still wondering if women played a major role in military history.
  7. Oops sorry bout that .... I guess I missed that one ... well no need to beat a dead horse and waist a thread in the process.... so um how about a pic of a hot chick?
  8. You know I just might go to the theaters to see this one ... then again I'll just wait for it to hit video because I really and I mean really hate movie theaters. I'm glad he's doing this flick because the first Tuskegee Airmen movie I've seen with Lawrence Fishbourne was, although great, kind of on the week side. What do you guys and gals(if any out there) think about it?

  10. Thank you so much you two. I thought I was going nuts there for second. I thought I went through the entire SF2 database. Once again thank you.
  11. I could've sworn I've ran across a C-5, or C-17 mod around here somewhere because I remember thinking about deploying troops, supplies, and MOABs. Don't get me wrong fighter jets are cool but a army still moves on its stomach. Well that and I live near the worlds largest C-130 training center (Little Rock Air Force Base) so its only natural that I'd want some cargo planes on my virtual flight line. I do however have the compass call, the C-130j, and another C-130E Well I'm just wondering if I was dreaming when I thought so those birds. Later.
  12. Thank you man. Say would it possible to make an USAF skin for this?
  13. Thank you

    New Guy!

    Welcome Bruce!!
  15. Hey I just wanted to thank the creators of this site and those in the modding community from the load screen guys/gals to the cockpit guys/gals and everything in between. Of course there's Thidwire to thank. When I lost my old flight Sim JF3 I was at a loss for several years because every flight Sim I found wasn't enough. WOE caught my eye on the shelves of a discount store and well it took off from there.(I now have the WOV SF2 and SF2E). But I wanted to thank you wonderful people for making a great game more enjoyable. Thank you.
  16. Beautiful. Simply Amazing. Thank you.
  17. Because DCS Blackshark was cool and DCS-A10c Warthog a work of freakin art my greedy but needs a little DCS AC-130 action! I've stumbled across a few threads that toyed with the idea that ED might or might not be coming out with one and the one they have is for military use only. Rumors are rumors and are, until proven accurate. Which is why I'm asking if any of you gentlemen heard anything solid. You know If I ever find a really good AC-130 sim...I just wouldn't be right for a few days. ;)
  18. Great comment and funny pic Lexx. I know politics is a really touchy subject for some people which is why I made previous statement. I've been to some sites where an innocent joke like the one I posted gets turned into a major flame war and things spiral out of control. Luckily we're all mature here (until someone posts a pic of a half naked hot chick ) And I like Dave's comment "get eaten for lunch by free men and women" I am proud to live a in a country where we can question things openly and your absolutely right. That's all I have to say about that....now I've got to go look up photos of chicks wearing strings...I meant bikinis.(What? I've been working all day and I can use a cold drink and hotties.)
  19. I have a family member that works for the government and from time to time to I get these little emails. Now in no way am I trying to start something or say something about something or someone. Having said all of that please enjoy. How Government Works Once upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert. Congress said someone may steal from it at night, so they created a night watchman position (GS-4) and hired a person for the job. Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his job without instruction?" So they created a planning position and hired two people: one person to write the instructions (GS-12) and one person to do time studies (GS-11). Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?" So they created a Q.C. position and hired two people, one GS-9 to do the studies and one GS-11 to write the reports. Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?" So they created the following positions, a timekeeper (GS-09) and a payroll officer (GS-11) and hired two people. Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?" So they created an administrative position and hired three people: an Admin. Officer (GM-13), an Assistant Admin. Officer (GS-13) and a Legal Secretary (GS-08). Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost," so they laid off the night watchman.

    Go Air Force!

Congrats Man I wish I could've seen that game.
  21. Sweet I've ordered it from amazon and it'll be here Friday(hopefully) Thank you everyone for suggestions!! I'll check out the others...oh Sons of Guns is on! Catcha later.
  22. I'll keep that in mind. The system I have came preloaded with a 64 bit version of vista. I'm sure I can track down some Xp disks. Thank you for the advice man.
  23. I'm on the hunt to expand my flight sim collection. And because CFS3 doesn't want to work with Vista I'm looking for another WWII bomber game of any bomber game. Know I know flying giant bathtubs aren't exciting as flying a Mustang or a Raptor but come on the bombardier needs some love too! It'd also be cool to have a combat rescue sim as well or I could save up millions of dollars and make one I suppose...could probably do the same for the bomber game too.
