  1. Try the NewEgg power supply caculator... Looks like your a bit short of power... I would try unplugging one HDD and see if it runs ok... Also, once you get it running, BACK UP your stuff before something bad happens...
  2. D-28 and later, also M models, which were taken from the D-28 run for conversion... Dive flaps would generate a 3 to 4 G pull out of a dive at 350 to 400KIAS. (Report of Joint Fighter Conference, NAS Patuxent River, MD, 16OCT1944) As for approaching mach number, tests at Dayton post war yielded results of about mach .805 to .83, in a vertical dive from 35 to 40 thousand feet. (This based on quotes from Herbert Fisher, Lowery Brabham, Chuck Yeager and Bob Hoover.) Notice the extended dive flaps...
  3. Didn't the MkXIIs have E type wings? (two 20mms and two .50s....) Skins look great! Nice work :)
  4. Russ's P-47N had operating cowl flaps... Don't forget, real dive flaps are needed for later models...
  5. What are you trying to do, turn me into an SF2 driver or something? If I gotta buy SF2 to get a hi-fi Thunderbolt, it's going to get ugly...
  6. Thanks! Can never have enough stuff to decorate the ground....
  7. I'll also need the min/max extent figures or an in-game LOD to finalize any decals... Teams... maybe...
  8. Send me the skins BMPs. I can pull off the markings and make TGAs and "patch" the bmp. I will need the 3DS Max out file... Not sure who to get for the FM....
  9. How's this coming along? Any plans for other versions? Mk XII and XIV would also be very useful... http://www.spitfireperformance.com/spitfire-XII.html
  10. Merry Christmas to all!
  11. Thanks for this review. Looks like my next controller, should my trusty MSFF2 ever fail...
  12. Well, SF1 is going the way of the dodo... Without concerted support from TK (who has noted that he doesn't want to go the WWII direction), SF2 will never be the modern day version of EAW that many of us Old Dinosaurs yearn to fly... Given all this, there are serious gaps in available aircraft for use in comprehensive WWII campaigns; of the aircraft avaiable for SF1, some are just not quite hi-fi-hi-def machines... Without a dedicated team effort, it isn't going to happen. Best to take Baltikas advice...
  13. Decals are easy. If you need help with them, send your skin templates and I can pull them off into proper decals... Let's get this airborne!
  14. You flying rocket scientist.... That's a purty little chart... What's it for?
  15. I just worked out formulas for Excel... :mega_shok:
  16. P-47N vs Mig17... Stay low and hi-yo...

  18. An interesting pic vs profile drawing.... http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?p=1669439 and of course, the fount of reliable information... Hey, it lists the squadrons... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_Sunderland Still no definitive list of S/Ns...
  19. Canadian numbers... RCAF owned by RAF... http://www.ody.ca/~bwalker/RAF_owned_w9999.html
  20. Do you have a source for RAF S/Ns?
  21. You'll need this webpage for the Aussies... http://www.adf-serials.com/2a26.shtml
  22. Look for DSP and "digital sound processor". You might look at Tom's Hardware on line for some reviews, also might be some at any of the various PC magazines websites. I have an article I can send you; I need to find it an dscan it first... Wikipedia even has a section on the Creative Soundblaster line of cards... ML
  23. I've always used seperate sound cards. I currently have a Creative Soundblaster X-Fi. Make sure your new card does the digital sound processing (dsp) on the card. Many cards use CPU resources to process sound. Take the load off the CPU to improve in-game performance. My X-Fi has several performance "modes" and my PC is louder than my old Kenwood stereo...
