WOW! What a plane! And their website is active, too.

That's stuff for Kaotic; I wouldn't post anything like that here...

TK was quite detailed; perhaps you might try minutes symbol? 239°30' Just throwing this out there, let me know if it works, please...

@Arthur07 That's your machine settings, SF series is just not that resource intensive. You've got frame rate locked to refresh rate, or a monitor with a low refresh rate, or refresh rate is set at 60HZ, or some such setting. I'd start with your monitor settings...

https://www.techpowerup.com/350844/nvidia-board-partners-receive-rtx-50-super-but-gddr7-pricing-holds-the-release-back Looks like the RTX 50 series Super may become a reality at some point, hopefully soon. A 5070 Super 18gb would be a step in the right direction for my machine.

https://www.airforce.gov.au/about-us/history/our-journey/establishment-raaf-base-darwin This site mentions dates, runway numbers, and runways being "sealed", meaning paved, presumably with tar and gravel ("chip seal" in the US).

This is just really awesome work! I really do like the looks of the long nosed 190s, such a classic aircraft.

As I recall, SF1 had an issue drawing mountains over the top of cloud cover. The mountain would appear on terrain mapping radar, but would not be drawn, and thus invisible, above a cloud layer. Made for some interesting flying on my old Himalaya map. I don't know if SF2 resolved that issue or not. TK and I talked about the issue, something about the way that DirectX worked with terrain that is hidden, but I don't recall all the details of that conversation...

Terrain isn't all bad; you have to land some time. The important part is the rate of closure...

Six Bulls heading for my airfield. I was closing from their port forward quarter; you just lead 'em a little bit and they light right up...
