Hey, all you hockey fans out there! What with the NHL on hold for who knows how long, I was wondering if any of you saw that the World Junior Hockey Tournament was going on over break. Whats the most interesting about it though, is that the tournament is being held in the town I go to college at--Grand Forks, ND. It's really kind of cool, I got to show some of my coworkers (in kansas) where the pep band (which I'm in) sits to play, where I fly some RC blimps at during intermissions, etc. Really cool So, make sure to watch some hockey, and think of me when you see how nice the arena is P.S. The one I was watching a few nights ago was USA vs. Sweden. At the end of the 2nd period, it was 2-0 USA. In the first 5:20 of the third period, 7 goals were scored, making the score 5-4 USA

When I heard that was how much the US was giving, I also thought that was a bit low. Really, I think with that kind of disaster, it should at least be in the hundred millions, if not around a billion. However, that money should not come from "raising taxes", but rather come from the horribly high welfare budgets. But, that's getting political...

Yeah, you should be fine NC. Sure, cable and DSL are better, but you should still be able to have fun on dialup.

Apparently, they already signed a contract with the NFL saying that can be the only one to make games about it. EA makes some decent games, but I'll be glad when the monopoly commission cracks down on them and stop these friggen business practices.

Yeah, I heard about this coming... At least Microsoft (the last monopoly thing) at least is known for being a good company, both to customers and its employers.

Great job guys! Looks like you're doing just fine with your sim! I just noticed something. I have no idea how that cockpit is built, but most planes that I've seen/flown have the degree of bank markers (the white lines around the edge of the artificial horizon) on the top, not the bottom. Now, like I said, it may be like that in the actual plane, but it just kinda looked weird to me.

I don't think it matters. If I remember correctly, you can run it from anywhere. But I could very easily be remembering incorrectly.
