  1. Microsoft had a bug no damage hits under 50 yards.. "50 yard bug" in OLDER versions of CFS3.exe (v3.0). so if you happened to replace it that would cause it.
  2. Not all a/c have the pilot model in there but many newer ones do. Try another craft (e.g. Fok DVII, DFW, N11, N16 etc)
  3. Don't forget many of those pilots were in the war a lot longer than Rickenbacker, who knows how long he would have survived if he started earlier.
  4. Press esc in flight, controls.. edit, save as "Mine" to make it stick.
  5. Also to correct you there Rob, talking of flight models in the AI a/c models.. all the AI models do not have different Flight model files etc. In fact that's never been the case in OFF apart from the fact they do not show in QC. Each individual type uses the same cloned FM for its AI models too. It would be a lot easier if they were different ;) As WM says use a/c with the shortnames that show a * on the end e.g. Alb.DIII* for player craft so you have a cockpit.

  7. Try terrain on 3 too. Something is overcooking :). It's about the terrain detail and scenery, textures etc. Lowering the slider some may help.
  8. Well it seems some see and feel completely different sensations to others with the craft. For me the tripe is slightly tail heavy (gently) not hugely, or horrible, or needing huge amounts of pressure, strange... anyway we'll look at....

  12. Yes but leader will slow down on route and you can catch up. AI is not yet human, just nearly. If we get enough support we can work more on improving AI even more. Try other craft some are better than others slightly. Make sure you apply 1.26 and the hotfix btw.
  13. For the record "In cloud effect" option is for the FOG when in a cloud (which is realistic that you do not see other craft well) so the button works. At the moment there is no option in CFS3 to turn off turbulence.
  14. Yep - for me joystick button 3 selects them (arms them) 4 fires them.
  15. The a/c and controls are not flyable at that stage so you would be a lawn dart
  16. Hard means it's hard for you and the AI, just hover your mouse over the options! However you ALSO have a new option to affect AI effectiveness with guns. Just use the defaults, then experiment if you don't like it?
  17. And make sure you are fully patched to V1.26 + hotfix !
  18. Not heard of that error before Chris, what *exactly* does it say? Which squadron/date ? (Also make sure you are patched to V1.26 + Hotfix) Sounds like something is corrupt. Check your drive for errors too (right click on drives in My Computer , tools,check for errors). Otherwise you can try Reset CFS3 option in workshop (will loose your settings, pilots etc though).
  19. Yes correct the DR1 was tail heavy and a handful to fly :) - does using Trim affect DiD I wonder mmm ;)

  23. V1.26 various roll rates fixed. Some craft you must raise nose before attempting still (as was case with some) and most will still need good rudder, and nose control.
  24. Update to V1.26 Bike is fixed.. ...did I mention rockets?
