  1. Algeria and Morocco hate each other deeply, one can also think of several bilateral scenarios.
  2. 9E are killing machines, 9B are useless. Something went terribly wrong with the missiles since a few years.
  3. What about ground warfare? I had issues (some units lacked skins) in the first release. I strongly recommend to make both sides playable, is way more enjoyable.
  4. Algeria was definitely pro soviet, Marocco a staunch ally of the western world. If a scenario takes place in a bigger war, with Soviet or US intervention, Morocco should be a western ally. By the way, one could also think of a 1990's scenario where the islamists were successful in their bid to power in Algeria and the new islamist Algeria invade Morocco.
  5. What bothers me is that during the cold War, Morocco was strongly aligned with the West. Could fight Algeria, though...
  6. Jaures would have voted the war credits, as every socialist everywhere like the SPD. Its assassination made him, way after the war, a martyr. But him being alive wouldn't have changed anything. I won't comment on the so-called "brainwashing" thingies as these are anachronical analyses and shows a lack of understanding of Victorian societies.
  7. Sweet. Maintenant je ne peux que t'encourager à updater Operation Pelayo! Suffit de corriger les problèmes de loadout, d'armement, le son de 2-3 avions et les skins des troupes au sol.
  8. 'Cause De Gaulle was an idiot and decided to drop the french alliance with Israel, loosing the best customer we ever had.
  9. Sure, I still think the AIM-9B should be slightly enhanced and the sparrow tamed. I've been playing this game for ten years and in my recent campaigns in Rolling thunder, latest patches, I've had only one or two kills for perhaps a hundred launches. When I read about the air war above vietnam, I don't have the impression that they were that bad. And I do use the missile within its parameters. In comparaison, I think the AIM-9 onwards are "press a button to kill" missiles : when they are available, Yankee forces just wipe out the NVAF out of the sky in a dozen missions.
  10. Indeed, but I think that the game has become overall too easy. And even if I think that AIM-9B have too poor effectiveness, anything above it is a killing machine. The same goes for sparrow from the -E onward. Missiles should get back to what they were...
  11. Happy national day, friends.
  12. So. Today, France meet Germany. I am more fond of Belgium, but sometime, the "Union Sacrée" is a duty! It's a very powerfull and symbolic meeting indeed. On les aura!
  13. Well... Looks like my little kingdom did it.
  14. No, you are not. It was the case back in SF1. In latter SF2, the damage model is better. Far from perfect or good, but better. You can have engine fire, be hit or things like that and go home. It's still sucks to be downed by a single 14mm in a A-10, though.
  15. Well, I never thought I would be sad to see a Syrian plane down. Hope he got some bastards before bitting the dust.
  16. Pignon, I do recommand that you update your scenario with the missing loadouts and weapons. :)
  17. When you book a train ticket for Köln on french vending machines, it's written Koeln indeed.
  18. Looks a lot like "Ho Chi Minh Campaign, reloaded". These guys poked the Iraqi government and it just fell apart, they are pressing their advantage. And sadly winning.
  19. I'll try this. What I fail to understand, though, is why I've got quite the same issue when I try to make a flyable nato-fighter campaign. I've tried it for the LSK and everytime, the plane shows up with soviet camo & decals. I mean... I can't have butchered anything with the ini and decals there and these planes were already flyable.
  20. No joy... I'm frankly lost. I only made them flyable. What could be wrong? The plane even don't use syrian camo but the soviet scheme... I am missing something with "making planes flyable" in campaigns.
  21. Take him to the vet. If he isn't sick, well, you'll be reinsured. If he is sick, it's not the end of the world. Cat are strong and resilient animals, they can suffer from illness for years and not even show a sign of pain. But the owner can help, when he notices something wrong. If my father and I had been more carefull, we could have helped the cat my father's had before it was too late. He actually had some renal disease for almost two years and only showed symptoms in the last months. And even then, if we had saw them properly he could have underwent surgery. Sadly, he was too weak when we discovered the disease. So, act fast! My other late cat was diagnosised with some digestive cancer. Vet gave her something like six months. She lived six years more up until her 20th year. With proper treatment, care and a loving family, cats can outlast prognosises. So if you are worried, take him to the vet. Better safe than sorry. If he is sick, don't necessarily put him down, there are other ways.
  22. HE could be old. Or he also could be ill.
