  3. Yes very important to question anything you are reading and never take it at face value. This site is © Copyright David Noakes 1997-2009 Looks to be this guy: http://eutruth.org.uk/david-noakes.html Seems a tad extreme............now all you need to do is get him to send you all the evidence for the wild claims!!
  4. England are bad these days but Iceland could be a new low after that result. Even the footballers were eager to get out of Europe.
  5. It doesn't have to be.........point is it is not a 3rd world disaster zone either, and there is life outside the EU.........which is good because that is what it appears the UK is now committed to. Only time will tell if it goes through to what will actually happen.................and it will all be worth it if Scotland are begging to rejoin the UK by then.
  6. It is a very convincing video for the Pro Brexit side for sure...........makes out the EU economic model is an inflexible, stagnant, bureaucracy which is holding back growth and thus there is a far better future looking to the rest of the world and not be stuck in the past looking to one of the sick economies (the EU) of the world. Using Switzerland as an example of a very rich European country outside the EU is probably a good indicator of the opportunity out there with far less regulation on industry and commerce. It is interesting that the the small minority that want a second referendum look like they are in fact the ones looking to hold on to a rotten past when the future could be global.......again. Anyway at least the video makes things sound a bit more optimistic. Did someone mention NATO?............. nothing to do with EU membership so pretty much nothing changes...........that's right both UK and EU members will still need the USA to take out any Soviet era IADS in 3rd world countries before the rest of the EU can safely fly in.
  7. Stop the personal attacks now - or this thread is history! Of course you can speculate all you like on this....but that is all you are doing..nothing more. Yes FACT democracy in action..........however when Simon Cowell puts things out to public vote they are generally less serious in nature.
  8. Remains to be seen who Scotland will be joining in the EU if the other major countries hold Referendums as well I voted stay in EU of course..mainly so I could blame everyone else if it went down the pan. The bottom line is 99.9% of any population is in no position to know or vote on a matter such as this........so in reality it's a total farce. Fair play that the government respect the electorate - democracy at work for better or worse. On the other hand things could go well..............might check to see if we can rejoin though just in case
  9. Nevada Map Bundle Deal Weekend! As our first DLC map for DCS World, the Nevada Test and Training Range map has been a big success in both its popularity and its showcasing of new map technologies. The Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) has the largest contiguous air and ground space available for peacetime military operations in the free world. The NTTR land area includes simulated air defense systems, mock airbases, and several target ranges. The NTTR was also used for nuclear testing. Today, it is home to RED FLAG and other military exercises that include countries from around the world. The NTTR map for DCS World 2 includes Nellis AFB, Creech AFB and the infamous Groom Lake AFB (aka Area 51). This map also includes the city of Las Vegas, McCarran International Airport, and Hoover Dam. Once version 1.5.4 is released, we will be updating the Nevada map to take advantage of new Virtual Reality features and other improvements/fixes. 40% off bundles deals from Friday, 24 June 2016 at 1500 GMT to Monday, 27 June 2016 at 0900 GMT. DCS World Update News This Friday we hope to release 1.5.4 into the open beta. If after a week we see no blocking bugs in the 1.5.4 open beta, we will move it to the public build the following Friday. Once 1.5.4 is released to the public build, we plan to release the F-86F / MiG-15bis 3rd party campaign. Following the update of DCS World 1.5, we will shift our focus back to DCS 2.0 for the next update. Have a wonderful weekend, The Eagle Dynamics Team
  10. Abraham Lincoln noted that America will never be destroyed from the outside. Likewise the most serious threats to the US aircraft industry have always come from within, as demonstrated by the following inglorious parade of folly and nincompoopery. No nation has created as many aircraft types – or types that so comprehensively occupy the spectrum from superb to shit. https://hushkit.net/2016/06/01/the-10-worst-us-aircraft/

  18. Well said Wrench Please consider that this site consists of many types of people from many different cultures and backgrounds........and as for freedom of speech YGBSM. There are plenty of other sites you can go to publicly get on your soapbox (this is not one of them)...........and you might also find you don't really have freedom of speech there either (if your definition has no boundaries). So any more of this sh*t and I am breaking the emergency glass that releases Dave from his cave!!
  19. Probably from http://www.testpilot.ru/review/mig_pilot/ch_8.htm The data Belenko supplied in response to the first quick queries also seemed surprising and, at first, contradictory. What is the maximum speed of the MiG-25? You cannot safely exceed Mach 2.8, but actually we were forbidden to exceed Mach 2.5. You see, at high speeds the engines have a very strong tendency to accelerate out of control, and if they go above Mach 2.8, they will overheat and burn up. But we have tracked the MiG-25 at Mach 3.2. Yes, and every time it has flown that fast the engines have been completely ruined and had to be replaced and the pilot was lucky to land in one piece. (That fitted with intelligence the Americans had. They knew that the MiG-25 clocked over Israel at Mach 3.2 in 1973 had landed back in Egypt with its engines totally wrecked. They did not understand that the wreckage was inevitable rather than a freakish occurrence.)
  20. Another truly sad disaster (just read the texts sent by a boy to his mother) may the victims RIP.
  21. OMG - wasn't expecting this!!
