  1. Yes.....not seen any problems thus far
  2. DCS 2.0 is currently at Alpha release as I understand it. All I know is that DCS 2.0 will become the de facto version sometime in the future instead of the 1.5 we are on now..........and when that happens I expect all the maps and Modules to be available and work together.....but as ever keep an eye out for news.
  3. In this upcoming DLC campaign for DCS World, Apache600 has found a unique way of putting a square peg in a round hole with The Museum Relic story… http://www.mudspike.com/the-museum-relic-dcs-world-campaign/
  4. Nice article: Mudspike Contributor Charles ‘Chuck Owl’ Ouellet gives us his first experiences of using the Oculus Rift CV1 with DCS. http://www.mudspike.com/oculus-rift-cv1-first-impressions-with-dcs/
  5. Modding support?? http://steamcommunity.com/app/347170
  6. If you are on Steam looks like early access from tomorrow. http://combatairpatrol2.com/
  7. Might be of interest to some

  10. Warthog Deals Despite being one of our oldest DCS World modules, our Warthog continues to still be one of our most popular. When paired with the new Nevada Test and Training Range map and the A-10C Red Flag campaign, it creates one of the most engaging flight simulation experiences you can have on a PC. For this weekend, we have two Hog deals. They will start on 03 June 2016 at 1500 GMT and last until 06 June 2016 at 0900 GMT. DCS: A-10C Warthog + DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range map for $59.99 USD A-10C: 16-2 Red Flag Campaign -50% off We've also included some of our favorite A-10C images. DCS: F-5E Tiger II Preview Video While Eagle Dynamics is primarily focused on DCS World 2.5, Spitfire, and F/A-18C Hornet, our friends at Belsimtek are busy getting the F-5E Tiger II ready for an Early Access release. The module has entered testing, and preparations for manual localization is underway. One of our German translators, Rakuzard, has created a couple preview videos of this new module: English: https://youtu.be/jtWw-_Nx8P0 German: https://youtu.be/U9JDtzt5nTc DCS: F-5E Tiger II is currently available in pre-purchase with a 20% savings at DCS site. Have a great weekend, The Eagle Dynamics Team
  11. There are conditions they need to adhere to as an ED 3rd Party......whether this includes better customer service I'm not sure........has anyone had any issues with the M2000C? - I gather the FM needed a bit of work? I do have the M2000C .......just havn't had time to fly it yet............am on Belsimteks MiG-15bis though, that's very good!
  12. Awesome question! This is a question I used to ask a lot while going through flight school. I am truly fortunate to have experience flying both jets. They are both awesome machines with tremendous capability, but you’ll see why I prefer the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet by the time you finish reading......... https://fightersweep.com/5334/ask-fighter-pilot-hornet-vs-super-hornet/
  13. Sadly looks like it will be released for free if enough people put up a donation first http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=167780
  14. It could certainly be related to another program trying to do something.......might be worth seeing whats running and stopping a few of them.....disable the AV for a few mins to test.
  15. Could be to with the delay when the CPU ramps up the speed. So are all your cores now running at the turboboost speed or the standard speed - as in are you overclocking at all?
  16. No was very regular at first but has been cut right back.
  17. Everything I have seen would suggest no more FC3 type aircraft.............but things can change. .
  18. Looks like a MiG-21Bis...no doubt they would have gone a long time ago if the funds were available.
  19. Yes the figures vary depending on the sources used.....and they are often just claims not always verified shoot downs. Asymmetric could be a simple generalisation but it's better than that authors "observations" that show a total lack of understanding of the factors behind combat performance.
  20. There is a lot more in this more recent book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Libyan-Air-Wars-1973-1985-Pt-Africa/dp/1909982393 Interesting that the Egyptians modified their Su-7s after 1967 (via Helwan) and added more pylons.
  21. The AIM-9B appears to have had both a contact and an influence fuze.

  23. The LAAF also crucified the MiG-23MS in most aspects and even on paper it looks poor........but they seemed to like the ML a lot better.
  24. The Soviet Union lasted a mere sixty-nine years (the Spitfire has been flying longer), but in that time produced some of the largest, fastest, toughest and most agile aircraft. Even now, 25 years after its collapse, almost all Russian and Ukrainian aircraft have their roots in the communist super state. Favouring clever robust design over high technology and refinement, the Soviet approach enabled the mass production of cheap machines. Many of these were outstanding, but some – for reasons of politics, bad luck or incompetence – were diabolical. Let’s pack beer and vobla, and take a walk through the rusting graveyard of the eleven worst Soviet aircraft. https://hushkit.net/
