I thought it was my connection problem, but when USAFMTL wrote on simhq.com that they get no server pings, that was nasty feeling.

My first modelling attempt

It's on hold for a while now. -
Don't intend to watch it. Ever. I think they bumped up violence level to attract viewers. That's just stupid, IMHO.

CAN NORAD ALERT

Wasn't Voodoo a vapourplane already? -
Hi! I have the same problem as keith, but my opinion is that's nowhere related to the campaign engine. My bet is that's the number (and quality) of bombers. Junkers and Dorniers? I guess SFP1 wasn't designed to handle large air raids, but I'm not a wise one on this matter. Notice that in all sims dealing with massive air formations bombers were always a bit less detailed -like in EAW or BoB (the one by Rowan). And in IL2 there were hi-poly planes but in fights of just 4 or 8 ships (that's why I sold it). But I may be wrong on the matter. Otherwise it possibly could be gunners' AI algorithm. My spec: P4 2,4 Ghz 1GB ram GF 6600 256mb 1024x768 4xanizo, aa off, shadows off, mirrors off, horizont dist medium, ground texture low, rest on high. Good framerate (approx. 25-40 fps) until big formations in my REVI Cheers

FalconCAF Yes from some time I consider buying FE. Propably will wait for combo pack with announced addon. Good to hear they do work -and thank you for being beta tester Any screenshot possibility? I uploaded version with new file structure, so anybody can pick up the kind of effects he/she wants before messing up Effects folder. Also included previously missing credits for Deuces . Sorry about this

WW2 Effects Pack version 0.91 View File Some graphic files in this package were created by Deuces or are modified versions of those created by him. My apologize to him for ommiting this info in first release. This version called 0.91 has new file structure allowing you to chose the effects you want, as suggested by Saganuay82. I get rid of the new sounds as they don't seem to work Submitter Stary Submitted 08/02/2007 Category Effect Mods

World War 2 effects pack
Stary replied to Stary's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
Saganuay You want to completely get rid of new tracers? The best way is to remove "tracersmokeemitter.ini", "Tracer20MMEmitter.ini" and "Tracer23MMEmitter.ini" from Effects folder. Then you should open bulletobject.ini in Objects folder and for every gun from 20mm up change like in example: [20mmEffects] TracerEmitterName=TracerXXEmitter to TracerEmitterName=TracerSmokeEmitter -

Fubar, what's your system, please? -
As for Lexx Luthor's effects they are available here at Combat Ace in the weapons mods/skins section for quite a long time now. And yes, they look definitely great. The only hard thing I remember was the installation process, which was a bit troublemaking but i may be wrong at this. Highly recomended anyway. I got my copy in early January. Played for two weeks, mostly online. Now she's resting on shelf awaiting some serious patches and new system. I'm going to give her another chance in future. But rather a dissapointment from a CWC vet&lover point of view.

HI! Yes I got most of the ships from here, I was wondering if Baltika gonna add nodes for some cruisers/battleships to BS. I'm not good at campaign editing (frankly haven't looked into *.inis) As for italian WW2 ships by Hinch there are Caesar and Cavour IIRC avaible here at CA, athrough they are not updated to SP4 I think
