  1. Yes, it's available here: My way of doing skins for this bird is completely different from painting something on the template. The skin is mostly blank with basic colors. All the markings, tail arts etc. are added as decals, so that the first aircraft from the numbers list gets the CAG markings and the rest get the lo-viz. The only exception is the intake decal which is painted on the skin, so it won't change its color depending on the aircraft number. Making it as a decal causes the decal to appear inside the intake, which looks bad AF. The only thing that I personally don't like about this "decal method" is that the tail fins sometimes look weird (especially when they are completely covered with the decal) with no weathering on them. Maybe I'll try to sort it out by putting weathering on the decals, why not

  3. Hello all! I am planning to rework the skin of Klavs81's F-35 to represent one of the most distinctive characteristics of this plane - the "zig-zag" lines on top of the fuselage which are RAM coatings covering the panel lines. The model available here on CA does not represent the panel lines quite correctly. I have a question for you: have you come across any high quality top-down view pictures of the F-35A? I only found something here and I would like to use such top-downs for reference: I would appreciate any help. Cheers kblomkvist

  7. I didn't even think about this one for a second Anyway, my bird would be something more modern than the Agile, even in the A version but you just gave me an idea to make the Agile too as the earliest and most basic one. Like: 1987 (or so) F-26A block 10 as the basic Agile version with F-16 block 40 avionics, 1995 F-26A block 20 as the F-2A counterpart with AESA etc. and 2010 F-26C block 30 with modern AESA, CFTs etc. Maybe someone has some better suggestions about verions and timeline?
  8. What if the USAF decided to introduce the bigger, more versatile and more sophisticated version of the F-16? Here's what I called the Lockheed/Mitsubishi F-26 Super Falcon. It's obviously the Mitsubishi F-2A with CFTs borrowed from the old F-16 mods, US-made weapons and avionics. The original Japanese camo was too unusual for the USAF so I repainted it completely with the colors of "Mod Eagle" scheme, adding my own touch to the weathering since the F-2 template lacks weathering at all. The aircraft pictured below belongs to the 510th FS "Buzzards", 31st FW, Aviano AB. I have some more ideas with this bird so stay tuned And yes, there's a f*ckup with the right side of the vertical tail with "VA" instead of "AV" code.
  9. Okay, so I decided to make two versions of this aircraft. F-26A - introduced in 1995 basically unchanged F-2A original AESA radar General Electric F110-GE-129 engine LANTIRN pods for A2G targeting F-26C - introduced in 2010 CFTS double A2A missile rails AN/APG-80 AESA radar modern cockipt based on F-22 JHMCS General Electric F110-GE-132 engine Sniper XR targeting pod built-in IRST
  10. Yes, I'm going to release it after making some more skins and all the tweaks with weapons and avionics.

  15. Is that an ordinary MiG-29UB or a different version? I can't recognize them very well. And here's the mandatory screenshot

  17. Should it rather be named AS-38? JA means "Jakt, Attack" which means "Fighter, Attack". This one is based on Tonka GR.1 so I think that AS (Attack, Spaning - Attack, Recon) is more suitable to the aircraft's role.
  18. Hello all! I've been searching for some solid information about the F-15X which is planned to replace older versions of F-15 in USAF and I encountered some press releases with contradictory information. My question may seem dumb but I'm going to ask it anyway: are they going to be one-seaters, two-seaters or a mix of both?
  19. F-15X and my doubts

I counted 22 max, I still don't know where the additional 2 would go. Maybe 4 instead of 2 under the centerline?
  20. I'm back with some fresh Japanese content. I may admit that the main inspiration to do this were recent Japan vs Russia scenarios presented by @JosefK So, here it is. The plain realistic gray skin with no special markings as it is used in the JASDF Rinji F-35A Hikotai. And a semi-fictional 302 Hikotai skin with a tail art similar to the one used on F-4EJ Kai Phantoms.
  21. The KF2 Hammer is available in SF1 download section, you must adjust it to SF2 standards if you want it to be fully functional in SF2. The Soviet/Russian skins haven't been released, maybe I'll release my PAK-FA-style skins.
  22. Pak Fa "Russian Grey Camo

Unfotunately it's only a greyed-out original skin without much addition from the mod author.
