  4. I just merged the model without the texture after resetting the material and saved it. Then, I started a new 3ds Max file and merged the saved file without any material settings, and it worked with no more shadows in-game. Thank you again for your help, my dear friends. Now I need to reset all the materials and test to see if everything is okay after setting everything up.

  7. I just found out that even making a simple box and adding a slice plane or just extracting one end of the edges I get the same shadows. and these are the settings under the preferences
  8. I tried this my dear ravenclaw but unfortunately didn't work. Thank you my dear swambast but that didn't work either I don't no what is happening did happen to me before. No the canopy is uvw mapped correctly and I checked and there isn't any overlapping the transparency. I really don't know. No they are not and they are not in the model but so how they show in the model only in the game and the LOD viewer.

Thank you ravenclaw_007 i had everything the same except the last thing was like this: AllowDecals = True CastShadow = True CatchShadow = True UseFlatNormal = False and I have changed it to what you suggested and sadly nothing changed the same problem. and this is the material setting for the canopy if that has anything to do with it.
  10. Hello, my dear friends, I have been having a difficult time with these shadows on the cockpit. I don't know how to get rid of them. In 3ds max there is nothing showing but with the LOD viewer and game they show. Any help would be really appreciated.

  14. I've started working on the Typhoon with more details. Added a new pilot ladder, more "remove before takeoff" tags, and made the towing decoy move correctly with the jet's direction instead of in a straight line (big thanks to Cliff7600 for the idea and the data work). More updates are on the way as I'm also working on the B model.
  15. I will be making some more ground objects one of these projects will be the PLZ-05 or the Type 05 is a 155 mm self-propelled howitzer.
