  1. Its definately a reflection of where they're from in U.S. I can't stand going to school in South Carolina, compared to my home state of Texas. Seems like the average girl in SC is about ten pounds heavier than in Texas. Everyone I call attractive is considered anorexic by the locals, haha. As for height, I've never really noticed anything profoundly different.
  2. I installed the Su-25 skin and it messed up my original .tga file that controls insignia and numbers for the Frogfoot. Hopefully someone out there can extract their original nomera.tga and email it to me.
  3. The .tga file that contains the lettering and insignia for the Su-25 got currupted somehow while I was installing some skins through LoMan, and unfortunately it couldn't replace them with the backups. Could someone out there extract the original nomera.tga files from the appropriate CDDS file and email it to me? I'd be much obliged.
  4. rofl Ever see the L337 version of Romeo and Juliet or Hamlet? www.albinoblacksheep.com
  5. You can try doing what I used to on DOD. Take a transparency pen and mark a dot on the center of your screen. It'll work, if you're really adamant about AG padlocking. I used to do this to add a crosshair to my sniper rifle, hehe.
  6. Whoa, looking pretty good.
  7. I still remember in Tornado, if you had a bogey trailing you rather close you could just drop a bomb and have its explosion knock him out. No worries about being to high off the deck, if youre in a Tornado and above 100ft you aren't using your radar right.
  8. Likewise, a CS setup if I ever upgrade. I used to salivate over the Cougar, until I began to hear about all the parts failures and things. I've always wondered how much of that was true or just hype.
  9. I've always like the A-9 prototype tested against the A-10. It had a link system between the rudder and the clamshell aileron speed brakes that allowed it to slide sidewise. By applying full rudder in one direction to create the slide, and then opening up the brake on the opposite wing to counteract the yaw, they planned for pilots to be able keep the plane pointed straight yet still track moving vehicles on the ground. It wasn't that bad looking an aircraft either, but it definately reflects the era it was designed. I doubt the Air Force would still have A-10's in the inventory if they looked as dated as the A-9. The A-10's unique appearence at least sets it apart from its contemporaries.
  10. So you're getting good rates with the new ones? I'll definately be downloading them then, as satisfied as I've been with those Check-Six 4.5's.
  11. Godamn this sims fun! I hear ya MJ, too much fun flyin around. Now, to see the modders catch up with it! Dynamic campaign here I come.
  12. How can you not love flyin the Frogfoot? Its simplicity at its best, no cumberson MFD's or intricate weapon systems. Just simple steam gauges and point and shoot weapons. All you folks out there who cry about loving the Hog for its quirks, I'll take my Frog any day. Though I would go for an Avenger under the hood.
  13. Its like a whole new game for me. Before, I'd never even gotten my options to stick, so its basically like my first time actually playin the game.
  14. The 1.02 Patch announcement was on the front page of BioHaz, now its not. The 1.02 Patch was downloading rather briskly, now its not. 3dGamers is listed as a mirror, but it doesn't have 1.02 anywhere. Whats going on?
  15. Much as I'd like to have the 1.02 version of LO-MAC to play with, I wouldn't have wanted to do the beta testing necessary to get it, lol. I'll just wait, thank you.
  16. Yeah, let us all hope the movie isn't gay. More Black Hawk Down, less plain s**t.
  17. Yeah, I'm keeping the C6 4.5's. I can finally play a campaign in all of its glory.
  18. Alright, I just tried the new 4.6's. I got an average of 24fps on the Black Death track. Going back to the Check Six 4.5's I got 26fps. Same settings on both, 10x7 32, 4xAA, 2xFSAA Perfect. This is all runnin on my Alienware: 3.0ghz p4 1g RAM Radeon 9800 Pro 256 So, I'd say you're doing something right if you're getting only 3fps lower on your "lowly" system.
  19. Haha, new 4.6's huh? I might have to check those out. If they're better, then I'm the one who's late, friend.
  20. The French Check-Six website is currently hosting a set of special Catalyst 4.5 drivers tweaked especially for Il-2:FB. I tried em out, upgrading from Cat 4.4's, and saw an increase of over 20fps. Basically, these drivers almost single handedly made the Perfect graphic settings playable, even in campaign. I'm seeing around 30 - 40 fps with Perfect settings, 1024x768 res, 4xAA and 2x FSAA, in campaign. Not bad at all.
  21. From what I've seen of the game, the graphics level is kinda understandable. Because of the commander option, zooming out and playing the game almost like an RTS, they couldn't make the graphics ultra detailed or render the game unplayable. Instead, its at an intermediate level between FPS and RTS. Reminds me a lot of OpFlashpoint actually.
  22. VTOL or is it just straight flight?
  23. 1911 - 2004, a long life for a great man.
  24. Say it ain't so! I swear, mate, there'd be a riot of epic proportions... or at least some raging forum action for a couple months.
  25. Everytime I see the increasing Beta numbers, it doesn't really bother me. I'm used to it, being a pretty avid X-Plane user. Its very common to see upwards of 20 betas come out for each X-Plane patch, not too mention normally two or three scraps of the release candidate. Not too many people ever complain to hard about the bugs in X-Plane. They're always there, and there are always new ones. Over time though, things get fixed. Then again, each version of X-Plane will see maybe twenty full patchs, whereas we're on what, number two for LO-MAC? At least we haven't waited as lang as for HL2.
