8th Fighter Squadron
The Dhimari 8th fighter squadron was raised when Hostilities seemed unavoidable with Paran.Dhimar purchased ex South Korean Sabers to form the unit.It was used in the opening of the conflict to provide air defense around the capital and the surrounding industrial area.After the initial offensive was stopped operations shifted to ground support.The 8th continued to fly the Saber until it was finally replaced by ex-USMC F-4s that were obtained in the mid-80's.It is hoped that a deal with the US will allow the 8th to fly ex-ANG F-16s in the near future.
The Dhimar "leopard Camo" was only used by 2 squadrons.The 10th and 8th.Both were units hastily raised during the war and were originally finished in bare metal when they were received from South Korea.the Depot that did the initial overhaul had limited stocks of the Standard desert paints and had to make due with what it had.The leopard pattern as it was known was designed by LT. M. Hushan and was made using paint originally meant for tanks.as a result by wars end the paint was in sad shape but due to the popularity of the scheme it was redone post war in "real" aviation paints.

10th Fighter Squadron
The 10th Fighter squadron (Vultures) had an interesting genessis.They started out as a Hunter equipped ground attack unit but had to give up it's Hunters to the 4th Fighter squadron.The 4th's commander is a member of the Dhimari Royal Family and used his connections to get the Hunters transferred to his unit after his squadron was destroyed on the ground during the opening phases of the war.F-86's were transferred from training units to the 10th to get the unit up to strenth.The unit kept it's ground support role but also flew recon and fighter patrols in the Capital area.

45th Fighter Squadron
The Dhimari 45th Fighter squadron (Scorpions) was formed a few years before the War after NATO countries decided to sell off redundant F-84's.The squadrons main responsibility was ground support and recon but they flew Fighter patrols as needed during the conflic.The 45th Squadron took part in the successful attack on the Parani Naval base at Al Hakarr.durring the raid The 45th attacked the air defenses while the main strike force destroyed the bulk of the patrol vessels docked there.

This is a fictional paint scheme for VF-1 Wolfpack, and is also my first low-viz scheme relying heavily on decals. This scheme is designed to combine the late 1970's to early 1980's low-viz scheme worn by the Wolfpack with the original scheme from 1972 before all aircraft had been delivered, providing hi-viz colors to the CAG and XO a/c. Aircraft numbers, BuNo's and notes are as follows:

WoE IDF Hawker Hunter Mod

Another "What If..." aircraft for you alternate history enjoyment!
This is a ini and skin mod for the stock Hunter FGA 9 that comes with WoE. It creates a new aircraft, for use by the Israeli Defense Forces Air Force.
It's suggested that you use this in a seperate Mid-East (Arab vs Isrealis) WoE install; this is how I have it. It will work much better in a seperate install.
It IS required that you have the latest weapons pak installed to get the maximum use out of the available weapons capabilities.
== REMEMBER: This mod is for use in WOE -ONLY!!!- as all the parts ONLY exist there ==
You'll find all the inis, bmps, tgas, whathave you for this install. The data ini has had the NationName= set to "ISRAEL", so when you fly you'll get Israeli medals, and have Israeli flightmates. In other words, this is a semi-complete aircraft, missing only the lod files (which cannot be uploaded or shared as they are core files-which makes this WoE ONLY). You get a new hangar screen, the damage tgas and everything else needed!
== REMEMBER: this is NOT a full aircraft, and you MUST have Wings Over Europe to make use of this aircraft mod. ==
You'll also have 2 skin folders; IDF and IDF2 representing the 2 different eras the aircraft operated in. The first is the blue/tan camo for the 50s and early 60s, and the 3 tone for use in the 70s and 80s.
The 3 tone skin represents aircraft from the Advanced Fighter School, and were used for training purposes (although some may have been used in the ground support role during the 73 War, alongside the remaining Sabre 6s <wink>)
Please read the enclose readme for full install instructions -you're creating a NEW aircraft-, and other important notes.
REMEMBER: This is for WoE ONLY, and requires the Weapons Pak!!!
For those without WoE, I am working on a version useing AD's Hunter F.6, so be paitent!
