      ************************************ Version 1.0 Initial Release ***********************************

      Version 1.0

      Thanks to the following folks:

TK - For the ThirdWire series of sims.
Bunyap and Wpnssgt - For the original Weapons Pack and their GBU_USAF.bmp file from which the GBU-12 paint scheme is derived.
Mustang - For the great video tutorials.
To my fellow Combatace moderators - For helping me beta test and work out bugs.
Any errors or mistakes are entirely mine.

      What you will need first:

      Bunyap's Weapon's Pack - http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=2672

      Thirdwire Weapons Editor - http://www.thirdwire.com/downloads_tools.htm

Copy of SFP1/WOE/WOV patched to the latest standard (as of 14 Nov 07)

      Notes and limitations:

Aircraft weapons stations must have LGB to be able to carry the GBU-12, and LP to carry the Pave Knife. Also, note the Pave Knife was available for only a very few years and was daylight capable only (which can't be simulated in the TW engine).

Dimensions and capabilities for the Pave Knife are notational. Detailed information on the Pave Knife pods was VERY hard to find, so the external model size/dimensions/sensor window size/paint scheme is a lot of TLAR (That Looks About Right). Also, this paint scheme was the first skin I've done from scratch...so there will be errors (hopefully, small ones).

In reality, only a few F-4Ds and A-6s were wired to carry the Pave Knife. So it's a lot easier to get them in game than reality would specify.

The GBU-12 Paveway I model is based on the picture I was able to find on designation-systems.net. It was VERY difficult to find good information on the 500 lb class Paveway I model...most info concerned the 'folding fin' model, which is a Paveway II. I decided to redo the model differently from the stock Thirdwire one, because I felt the stock model was too short and had wrong fin diagrams to be correct. However, the paint scheme was a guess (using the Weaponspack GBU_USAF.bmp as a basis).

Speaking of GBU-12 models, this one's fins, because they are bigger, will cause visual conflicts if mounted with one on the center station on a TER. Best thing to do is carry them one to a pylon.

    2. This is Fictional ( only my own idea ) weapon - rockets pod for six big rockets. This unguided ( free launch ) rocket shoots a cluster bullets around target.
3D max project of this rocket included inside for modellers. A texture is from weapon pack, not my own.

    5. P-47D-25, Generic Post-WW2 Skin for SF, WoV & WoE

A "simple garden variety" natural metal skin for Wolf's P-47D-25 'Bubbletop' Thunderbolt.

This is a 'representative' skin for the F-47D Thunderbolt, in the post-1947 era, right after the formation of the US Air Force. As they were still a few around for a few years, mostly in the Air National Guard, I thought I'd throw together a little something. Now, mind you, these are NOT ANG aircraft, but should be considered as 'front line', as I didn't create ANG style decals.
The tail serial numbers are actual P-47D serials, just so's your tail fin don't look and feel so neeked.
I've also created the "buzz numbers" so prevelant in the post-war period, and into the Korea War, so this skin set will fit nicely into a "Cold War Gone Hot: 1948" scenario.

There are a few changes in the cockpit ini, adding a new sight tga (USAAF Mk.8). Instructions are below, in the "To Install" section.
And, once again, all the lights have correct positions, colors, including a landing light.
A new, WoE style Hangar Screen is also provided.
Information of 'fixing' the loadout problem with the Triple-Bazooka launchers is also supplied

== You MUST also have the latest weapons pak to make use of the WW2 weapons.==

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions, along with other notes of interest.

      Happy Hunting!

    6. P-51D-30, Generic Post-WW2 Skin and Ini Update for SF, WoV & WoE

A "simple, plain old garden variety" natural metal skin for Wolf's P-51D-30 Mustang, that uses the "P-51D30_V3.LOD", or in other words, the latest version that's available in the "Planes Pak", to be found at CombatAce .

This is a 'representative' skin for the F-51D Mustang, in the post-1947 era, right after the formation of the US Air Force. I did some experimentation with 'paneling'. I just used various verrry light tones of gray to try and create the differing panel sections. The skin itself was created from Wolf's original template, with cleaned up and redrawn panel lines, my 'interperative' rivets, and a new look for the cowl vent/air filter inlet.
The tail serial numbers are actual P-51D serials, just so's your tail fin don't look and feel so neeked.
I've also created the "buzz numbers" so prevelant in the post-war period, and into the Korea War, so this skin set will fit nicely into a "Cold War Gone Hot: 1948" scenario, or even a Korean War one.

As everybody knows how I hate to waste good decals, and just for fun, I transfered over and positioned a whole bunch of the various nose arts from other aircraft. So there's something to look at; and most surely against the Regs in the post-war era....there may be some partial or semi-nudidity on some some of them.

A few changes in the cockpit ini, added 2 new sight tgas (K-14 AA and AG sights). Instructions are below, in the "To Install" section.
And, once again, all the lights have correct positions, colors, and that nice little retractable landing light lens that Wolf provided for us, in now actually the landing light. --- really, this is the last time I'm fixing it!!!!
A new, WoE style Hangar Screen is also provided, for those wishing to use the aircraft/skin in a CWGH: 48 style install.

== You MUST also have the latest weapons pak to make use of the WW2 weapons.==

As stated above, there here highly detailed, step-by-step install instructions -- so PLEASE read them, ok???

      Enjoy!

    8. This eggs outta the basket!!

This is an F-4E pack with 3 camouflage patterns based on the jets I worked on the first 4 years of my enlistment as an aircraft structural mechanic in the Air National Guard. This pack represents the entire 163rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, 122nd Tactical Fighter Wing of the Indiana Air National Guard.

Read the readme files!! They explain how things get installed and how they work.

      Enjoy!
