IL-28 Beagle, Fuerza Aérea Revolucionara (Cuba) (semi-fictional)
 
= For SF2, Any and All, Merged or Not, With Access to the IL-28 =
 
This skin pak creates Cuban Air Force (FAR) IL-28s, had they been assembled and put into service during The Crisis of Oct/Nov 1962. (as everyone knows, of course, they weren't)
 
A new, edited Userlist.ini is included adding Cuba, with a VERY short operational life span (2 years). No other changes have been effected. All markings, etc, are stock; with the exception of the tail's skin bmp -it was partly retemplated to redraw panel and rivet lines to add the FAR flash.
 
An 'optional' folder includes a set of inis and will make the IL-28 player-flyable (if you've not done so already), using all stock in-game items (ie: F-4B pit, due to it's twin-engine annunciators, and GM radar. Probably not perfect, but it works! <grin>). The cockpit ini has had all the readings/measurments converted to metric standard (Kilometers per hour, Meters-per-second, etc). An audio-only RWR is included (don't know IF they actualy had one...but it'll help out somewhat). Small data ini tweeks add landing lights and some AI data. A new Hangar screen is included for those so inclined to use it.
 
As always, fairly easy to follow, somewhat detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

A-1H Skyraider VA-65 Tigers Skin Pak

(it can acutally be used in any SF2 install that has the access to the stock A-1H)
 
This skin/decal represents VA-65 Tigers as seen in 1962/63 when based USS ENTERPRISE (CVAN-65) during her Mediterranean Cruise and "Caribbean Cruise" of Oct/Nov 62 as part of CvG-6. All new decals have been created for the various markings and such. (well, not ALL -- some are reused from my other Skyraider skin paks, but you get the idea).
For use with or without my A-1H Skyraider Upgrade Pak. (available in the CombatAce SF2/Skins/Downloads section)

A-4C Skyhawk VA-76 Sprits Skin Pak

This skin/decal represents VA-76 Spirits as seen in 1962/63 when based USS ENTERPRISE (CVAN-65) during her Med Cruise and during the Cuban Missile Crisis quarantine as part of CVG-6. All new decals (plus one "borrowed" stock one and editated to suit) have been created for the various markings and such.
 
Other mods include tweeked data and loadout inis. The loadout ini changes the STRIKE loadout to use a TER with 2 Mk82s each (I Like a little more striking power); if you don't want to carry 4 Mk 82 bombs, just delete the loadout ini, and it'll revert back to stock. Or, you can re-edit, remove the RackType reference, and replace with 2 1000 pound Mk.83s. Your choice!. Data ini changes include activating the canopy via a manual animation key (use Shift/0 to open and close), and the addition of the landing light.

A-4B Skyhawk VMA-331 Bumblebees Skin Pak

This skin/decal represents VMA-331 Bumblebees as seen in 1962/63 when based at NS Rossevelt Roads, Puerto Rico and NS Guantanamo Bay (aka Leeward Field), Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis
All new, historically accurate BuNum decals have been created (thank you Skhawaks.org!!). Unfortunately, the listing didn't match Modex to BuNum, so it's not perfectly accurate.
 
Other mods include a tweeked data and loadout ini. The loadout ini changes the STRIKE bombs to use 1000 pounders. Data ini changes include activating the canopy via a manual animation key (use Shift/0 to open and close), and the addition of the landing light.

P-2H "Neptune" RNNAS (MLD) Skin/Decals Pak

This skin and decal pak is for the P-2H Neptune, and recreates aircraft from 320 Squadron, Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service (aka Marine-Luchtvaartdienst or MLD), in the 1970s.

This adds another user's skin, with (hopefully!) historically accurate markings and serials.

MiG-21F Fishbed-C, Fuerza Aérea Revolucionara (Cuba)


 
 

= For SF2, Any and All, Merged or Not, With Access to MiG-21F =


 
As stated above, you MUST have an install that has the MiG-21F in it. As this is pretty much ALL installs, it should work in all types, merged or not. It also assumes you've made the aircraft flyable. If not, consult the CombatAce Knowledge Base for instructions.
 
The skin is a base natural metal with a partly repainted (from a partial template) tail bmp to add the FAR rudder flash. The stock in-game Bort number decals are used, as all the photographic evidence seems to point that way. (in fact, other than the repainted tail bmp, everything is stock!)
 
The latest (as of 1/11 patch) _data ini is included, as I've activated the canopy, and included a modified Loadout ini, that adds the centerline drop tank to the base Air-to-Air loadout, and reset the RECON loadout. The engine sound has been set to the old TMF "MiGEngine.wav" (not supplied), but there are several good/better ones out there for you to find.
A replacement main ini (MiG-21F.ini), and a NEW avionics ini that activates the gun-ranging radar are included. When installing allow for the overwrite. Any other skins will be automatically added (so, not to worry!)
 
The canopy is activated via a manual animation key (use shift/0 to open and close it). As all the decals used are stock, there are no additional decals to be added.
 
As always, fairly easy to follow, highyl detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

The sixth and GRAND FINALE skin pack for your F8U-1 Crusader.
 
In February 1958, VF-32 went aboard the newly commissioned USS Saratoga for the carrier's first Mediterranean cruise as part of Carrier Air Wing 3. During that cruise, the Swordsmen took part in the Lebanon Crisis by providing air cover for the landing of 1,800 US Marines at Beruit in July 1958.
 
Included here are the VF-32 'Swordsmen' as they appeared in 1958 during that crisis. The CAG bird (Commander of Air Group) is provided as its own DISTINCT skin.
 
An installation read-me file is included.

As stated above, you MUST have -at minimum!!- SF2 (full-4 merged) plus and/or SF2I with Expansion Pak 1, as this added the 15bis to our aircraft stable. As I have a full-4 merged, plus both expansions, I can't say for sure it's available any other way.
 
The skin, is a base natural metal, with a partly repainted (from a partial template) tail bmp to add the FAR rudder flash. The stock in-game Bort number decals are used, as all the photographic evidence seems to point that way. (in fact, other than the repainted tail bmp, everything is stock!)

The engine sound has been set to the old TMF "MiGEngine.wav" (not supplied), but there are several good/better ones out there for you to find.

A-TEAM SF-2 RAF Buc repaint
 
You need the A-TEAM 'BuccaneerS2B' model (an alphasim SF-2 porting) at ther site, to use this skinpack.
 
 
All credits for the plane are for A-TEAM.
 
I updated and reworked their skinpack and original SFX skin, too.
 
 
The RAF '70 line UP is here with: 12, 15, 16, 208, 216, 237 Squadrons.
 
 
Serial numbers (76) are historic but not divided by each squadron, because the planes very otfen change unit, so I put them togheter, deleting those belonged to RN only.
 
 
I'll wait for Volker's Buc better flyng these. I hope You too.
