      ======

Design and development The F11F (F-11) Tiger origins can be traced
back to a privately funded 1952 Grumman concept to modernize the
F9F-6/7 Cougar by implementing the area rule and other advances. This
Grumman company project was known as the G-98, and by the end had
      departed totally from the Cougar.

    3. Spitfire MkIa, No.19 Sqn RAF, Fowlmere, September 1940

No.19 Squadron was the first RAF unit to be equipped with the Spitfire, which entered service in August 1938. The squadron was based at the time at Duxford in Cambridgeshire, now famous for its Warbirds. By September 1940, the squadron had been reissued with 8-gun MkIa aircraft after a month-long rather unsuccessful operational trial of the 20mm cannon-armed MkIb.

Squadron Leader Brian 'Sandy' Lane led 19 Squadron during the later part of the Battle, flying P9386 'K', recognisable by its yellow ex-OTU spinner. Other noteworthy members include Flt Sgt George 'Grumpy' Unwin, one of the original members of the squadron at the time the Spitfire entered service (X4179 'H'); Sgt Bernard Jennings flying X4474 'I' and Flight Lt Walter 'Farmer' Lawson with X4170.

Serial numbers in this pack correspond to aircraft used by 19 Squadron during September 1940, although many of these aircraft were on strength only for some days, for obvious reasons. Where possible, I have tried to ensure that the individual letter and serial number correspond to reality.

For use ONLY with SF2 including the Israel Expansion Pack. This will NOT work if you do not have the stock TW Spitfires installed and working.

Includes 2048 and 1024 size skin sheets.

    4. P-51D Mustang, 47th Fighter Squadron, 15th FG, WW2 PTO
      -- For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Prefered), and/or SF2I ALL w/ExpansionPak 1 --

(it can acutally be used in any SF2 install that has the access to the stock P-51D)

NOTE: you =MUST= have, at minimum, SF2:I Expansion Pak 1, and/or with a full-4/5 merged w/Exp1 installed. If you don't have these, don't bother downloading this package.

This skin represents aircraft of the 47th FS, 15th FG as based at Airfield #1, Iwo Jima, during mid-1945 through wars end.
"Plane In Group" number decals reflect the actual type used (150-199); serial numbers are stock -so make sure you've the the latest 3rdWire stuff intalled.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

(it can be used in any SF2 install that has the access to the stock P-51D)

Skin represents aircraft of the 72nd FS, 21st FG as based at Ie Shima, Okinawa during mid-1945 through wars end.

Included is the most recent data ini (5/11), with the addition of corrected lights (running, formation, landing) and a opening canopy. Use shift/0 to open and close. More importantly, the weapons data for the stock 3rd Wire Mustang drop tank -NOW WORKING!!- For some reason, when NOT in the weapons folder, it wouldn't work. Please note, if you wish to have the tanks on other Mustangs in other installs mod folders (ie: IDF Mustangs, Central American or even post-War USAF), you'll need to use the supplied loadout ini. Drop it into the aircraft folder of the bird lacking tanks.
The WW2 era pilot is not supplied; you should have him already in you WW2 game install.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

    6. P-51D Mustang "NoseArt" Skin Pak
      = For SF2, Any & All, PLUS! SF2:I ExpansionPak 1 =

** SF2:I Exp1 is REQUIRED!!!!, as it contains the P-51D. If you do =NOT= have it, don't download
this mod, as you'll be unable to use it!!! This pack may also be usable in WoI, with it's
Expansion Pak. This has NOT been tested**

A new skin for WW2/Post-War Mustangs that adds 100 nose arts decals, culled from various and
sundry other skins/projects I've done, plus several new ones. Some are historically accurate for
the period depicted; Some will be 'anachronistic' for the late 1940s, but that's part of the fun!
A new P-51 skin is included, that has the red spinner repainted back to a more 'natural metal'
      look.

Decal Randomization is set to TRUE. Skin maps are in jpg format.

      - PARENTAL ADVISORY: This pack contains several artworks that depict the nude human female form
(ok, right, well actually, MOST of them do!!). If you find these to be offensive, you should
consult your doctor and/or psycholigist immeadately (if not sooner), as there must be something
      quite wrong with you!!
Users under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or guardian to download this mod.

    11. SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf FW-190A4, JG2, MTO

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the MTO envrionment.*
**This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 MTO intalls. It is reccomended you delete the skin and decals folders of the originals, as to NOT cause any conflicts with THIS mod.**

Reskin/Redecaling for the recently released FW-190A4 recreates JG2 'Richthofen' as seen in North Africa/Tunisia region during late 1942 (early 43??) and onward.

The aircraft is finished in a 'solid' desert tan, with white ID bands. Skins are in jpg format, decal randomization is set to TRUE. This set contains the markings for the various gruppe officers (<, <<, etc). With luck, they're pretty close.

If you don't have the aircraft yet, you can get it here:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/13688-sf2-ww2-focke-wulf-fw-190a-4-eto/

However, you WILL be doing some light ini editing BEFORE adding this skin. See "To Install Notes" for more details.
Remember, this is for a WW2 MTO-centric mods folder ONLY!!!

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest.

    12. SF2 WW2 ETO Spitfire 9C, 411 Squadron Skin Pak

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
**SF2:E Expansion Pak 2 REQUIRED to have the Spitfire 9c**

A reskinning of the stock 3W Spit 9C to 411 "City of York" Squadron RCAF during WW2 in Western Europe.
Skins remain in their 'lorez' 512 size, and are still in bmp format. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. All marking on the aircraft, excepting the Sky fuselage band are decals. This will make it exceptionally easy for skinners to create other RAF squadrons of this time period.

Included are modified data and loadout inis. See 'changes' in the Notes section for full listing. And, for you viewing pleasure, brand NEW Hangar and Loading screens. The assumption (oh! that word!!) is being made that you've already made the aircraft player flyable, so no cockpit bits are included. Neither is my "One Click Restore Main Ini" (patent pending).

The canopy has been activated via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0
No weapons or pilot figures are included; you should have them already.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

      Happy Landings!!
