SF2 AD-4N (Late) Skyraider, 1950s USN 4/12/2015
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full- Merged Prefered) =
*Note: must have SF2:V as part of your merged install to access the A-1H lod used herein. This, like several of the KAW Skyraiders with the "_3W suffix, is based off the stock A-1H lod.*
Something slightly different, for USN Skyraider squadrons in the mid-1950s. I basiclly did this as I got tired of seeing DGNB AD-4Ns parking on deck intermixed with Grey/White jets and such (even though that IS historically correct). But, some early models DID survive the switch, and operated in the Gull Grey/White. This is one of them...
The skin herein represents:
VA-216 "Black Diamonds" aboard USS Yorktown (CVA-10) circa 1956/57
The skin is in jpg format. All markings, excepting the tail Black Diamonds, are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE.The BuNums, while correct for this model, are not specific to any squadron, and should be considerd 'generic' in nature.
Wingfold and canopy are controled via the Standard Animiation Keystrokes . Shift/9 for the wings, and Shift/0 for the window.
All weapons used are stock in-game items, excepting the APS-31 radar pod and ALT-7 ECM pod.
I'm trying out a different "style" for the Hangar screen; I hope you like it.
On the Aircraft selection drop down, you'll see
AD-4N Skyraider (Late) (3W)
This will differentiate it from the -4NL and other -4 marks. The "3W" indicates use of the stock 3W lod.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
Good Hunting!

Avia S-92 'Ilmavoimat' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a fictional version of the Avia S-92 (Czech built Me-262A-1a) by Veltro2K in post-war service with the Finnish Air Force during the 1946-1951 timeline.
JonathanRL has some campaign plans for it and set me a skinning challenge so I thought I'd release it here as a 'normal' Ilmavoimat version for anyone who wants it.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the S-92_Ilm folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the S-92_Ilm folder into your Decals folder.
3. From the EFFECTS folder drag and drop both files into your Effects folder.
4. From the SOUNDS folder drag and drop the Jumo file into your Sounds folder.
CREDITS
Thanks to Veltro2K for making the 3D model of the S-92 'Turbina' (Veltro2K's original S-92 Readme including his credits/thanks is enclosed).
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.

SF2 WW2 ETO Republic P-47D "Bubbletop" Thunderbolt (0.5 Beta) 12/15/2014
= For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)
*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*
This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
We are calling this "version 0.5 beta", as there are a few minor issues with the LOD, and
these will repaired as Real Life allows. But, we wanted to get them out into the
hands of our WW2 End Users for their examinations and so forth. See Notes below for a
more detailed explanation.
REMINDER: this pack contains ETO Bubbletop Jugs =ONLY=!!! Other theatres/users will follow
as time permits, and as they are completed.
This pak contains, as stated above, a NEW aircraft, representing the Bubbletop P-47D (-25
thru -30-ish) Thunderbolt as seen in late 1943 through war's end.
Skins included are:
8th AF
56th Fighter Group :
61st FS (early 44, OD/G)
62nd FS (mid/late 44-45), camo)
63rd FS (sometime in 44, NM)
and
9th AF:
379th FS, 362nd FG (full D-Day markings, NM)
All markings are decals. Decal randomization is set to TRUE.
Please note, Squadron or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on, as are the Invasion
Stripes. There are some nose arts.
All the 1stGen Hangar and/or Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created
new for this package. They are in jpg format, and fit SF2 formatting. Damage textures are
also new, in DDS format. There are 2 different Loading Screens, and you can swap them as
you see fit.
The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke , Shift/0
Pilots, sounds, weapons are all included.
Templates for this aircraft ARE included, for those skinners that wish to do other units,
or other theatres, or Allied users (and see my appeal in the "Notes" section <grin>). The
template is in the main zip of the package, so don't forget to move it OUT of your mods
folder or things might get confusing!
As there are several P-74D Bubbletops available, when in game you'll see:
P-47D-20 Thunderbolt (CAF)
on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from any others that
you may (or may not) have.
As some units are repeated, those with the mods I built for Wolf's Jugs, can choose to
keep those, or remove them to storage.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE
read them!!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes" section a read, too.
Happy Landings!

SF2 Post-War TB-25J Mitchell Pak 4/5/2015
-- Something just for fun! --
= For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
**Note: This mod references the stock destroyed Il-28. Also, due to modifications to various inis, this mod will -NOT- work in 1stGen game installs at any patch level. This has not/cannot/will not be tested by me.**
This little mod represents TB-25J (glass nosed) Mitchells in serivce with the USAF in the post-WW2 time frame. Many of these aircraft were retained and converted to personal transports, navigational & multi-engine trainers, or squadron 'hacks' up until the late 1950s. The aircraft is completely unarmed. However, "those that know how" can readily turn the aircraft to it's original status and function. (see Notes for details).
The aircraft is finished in Natural Metal (withOUT the late 50s white fues top or black "anti-soot" nacelles), and carries standard post-1947 USAF marking, including Buzz Numbers. The skin is in jpg format and all markings are decals. Decal Randomization is TRUE. Engine sounds, pilot figures, and a "couple of other things" are included.
When in game, you'll see
TB-25J Mitchell (v2k)
on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other B-25s you may (or may not) have. (even though there ARE no other TB-25s!!)
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!
Remember, an aircraft like this one, saved the world from The Giant Claw!!!
Happy Landings!!

SF2 KAW Hawker Sea Fury (SB) Pack 4/4/2015
= For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
*Note: There is a distinct probability that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at any patch level. End Users that attempt it, do so at their own risk. A Full 5 Merged install is reccomened at the LATEST patch level.*
This package contains a NEW aircraft for SF2, the Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 by Skippybing. We've been waiting a long time for this, and through the work of some damn good people, finally have it operaional for the game.
Skins included are for the following units:
FAA:
801 (HMS Glory, 1951 -with stripes)
802 (HMS Theseus, early 1951 -no stripes)
807 (HMS Ocean, 1952, -wth stripes)
RAN:
805 (HMAS Sydney)
All skins are in bmp format, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. All markings are decals (from PauloPanz' excellent upgrade of the orginal Sea Fury by Simon Porter). This will allow for easy creation of other FAA or other countries markings (as long as it's in the standard FAA camo). The usual 'box art' hangar screen is included, revamped for SF2.
Canopy and wingfold operate via the 'standard animation keystrokes' (shift/0 for the window, and Shift/9 for the wings). Weapons are NOT included (all those used are in the KAW weapons pak), other than the drop tank. However, the pilot figure and AvHistory engine sound is.
For the skinners, I've included the partial template I had to create. Those with the talent, time and inclination are encourged to expand my work, and use it to create other the countries and squadron users various paint schemes. The user list included has almost all listed. Expansion there is also encouraged. The template folder itself, as you'll see after unzipping, is OUTSIDE the to-be-installed /Objects folder. Put it somewheres safe, eh?
As an extra added bonus, some ships. HMAS Sydney, from eburger's SF2NA CV SuperPack is included for the RAN flyers. It's had a few minor changes. See notes for details.
Also, My "stand in" Tribal DD, with expanded userlist and some minor corrections (also usable for WW2!!). As well as RAN "Battle" class DDs, stand-ins bases off Stephan1918s V/W class DDs (closest fit), for you Battle Grouping pleasure.
When in-game, on the aircraft selection menu you'll see:
Sea Fury FB.11 [sb]
This not only tags is as "skippybing", but will diferentiate it from Simon Porter's older one.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, take note of the "Legal and Usage Disclaimer', it's been changed for this aircraft.
Good Hunting!
