    2. This is set of satellite based 1024x1024 tiles created for India/Pakistan terrain by Deuces and Wrench
       
      Best to be used in dedicated India/Pakistan (AKA "Wings Over India") stand alone mod, but can be added to any install that has India/Pakistan map added into it.
      This pack assumes you do have installed and tested (flown over at least once) "Indiapak" map.
       
      Right now TODs and their placement is as they were for original terrain release, but they do work quite well.
      Also given the scope of the terrain portrayed and it's physical diversity I had to make some compromises.

    3. Texas/Mexico tileset
      for ASW terrain by Wrench, The
       
      (should work with any maps created using stock "Desert.cat" tileset, series1 backward compatible format)
       
      This is set of 1024x1024 tiles created for Wrench's Texas/Occupied Mexico terrain (known as ASW -America South West)
       
      Right now being sort of fully functioning beta, it does not include dedicated/borrowed tod files ("treemod") due to my lack of time

    4. This is re-release of my tileset for Gepard's Formosa Strait/Taiwanhaxia map.
       
      These are the original "lost and found" tiles I created in 2010 for Taiwan and released previously in downscaled 512 version.
       
      Included are two seasons, all the .tods (trees, buildings; both in small and big versions), necessary inis and other bits and pieces from the original release, slightly tweaked here and there. Oh, slightly different trees graphics too.
       
      You can install this either into clean version of Gepard's terrain, or into your existing already modded Formosa
      (that is with the !RECOMMENDED! Wrench's fixes and tweaks, my previous tileset/treemod)

    5. Ground Effects Collection
      ---------------------------------
       
      Just a few sample noise textures from the hordes I have collected & been experimenting with.
       
      They replace the stock noisenormal.bmp that create an impressive feeling of substance, texture & speed at low level.
      Enhancing already detailed terrains & giving new life to older low rez tiles. :-)
       
      Installation:
      ---------------
       
      Select a NOISENORMAL.bmp from on of the numbered folders & place it in the specific terrain folder that you intend to use it for.
       
      E.G.: \Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Terrains\Desert
       
      Notes:
      --------
       
      Terrain texture needs to be set to High or Unlimited to see the effects!!!!
       
      Best results are when that sun is at a lower angle, at noon the ground effect is not as visible!!!!
       
      Some noise textures work better than others on some terrains! You'll have to experiment with what works best with your particular tile set.
       
      As a guide this is what I use but you may find others more suitable.
       
      Desert: NOISENORMAL - 2
      Grass or foliage: NOISENORMAL - 7
      General: NOISENORMAL -3
       
       
      Problems/bugs:
      ------------------
       
      All texturs have been tested in SF2 fully mereged. (BuildDate=Aug 2011)
      I have noticed no adverse effects on my system & game settings!
       
      However....
       
      Some users could experience slight haze or shimmering depending on there system, game & graphics card settings.
       
      My FPS seems unaffected but some users could experience a slight FPS drop.

    6. Alternate 1024x1024 tiles for the stock desert terrain

    7. HURC'S SF2V AIRFIELD REBUILD MOD 1.1 Patch 1 (Freeware - Not to be used in any Payware mods) 10-9-11
       
      This patch adds a few missing items from the original mod. Additionally, there are new targets and types files with slight changes. Backup your current ones if you have modified them just in case.
       
      Plus: If you have an install of the "Vietnam Air and Ground Expansion Pack 2.x Mod", I've included a set of targets and types files specifically for use in that mod. Make sure you BACKUP first just in case.
       
      Install the original SF2V AB Rebuild Mod 1.1 into your AG-XP mod folder and then copy the included objects, types and targets ini files into the mod folder as well - say yes to overwrite prompts.

    8. HURC'S SF2V AIRFIELD REBUILD MOD 1.1
       
      This mod is was inspired by "Piecemeals Airfield mod to complement Stary's Green Hell3 mod for SF2V". Thanks Piecemeal, Stary and all you other crazy modders! Thanks TK!
       
      I basically rebuilt the airfields on both sides with new objects and layouts. I wanted to make them so that you will not find allied equipment on an enemy airfield, or at least not enough to notice. I didn't think you should see USAF type revetments on a Russian designed and Chinese built airfield such as those in North Vietnam. Many of the same terrain objects that Piecemeal used are still included and along with new ones that were not yet created at the time of his mods release.
