FE - simple AA Machine Gun mod
By Gr.Viper
No remodeling, or repaints. This mod adds heavy truck-mounted anti-air machine guns.
They use Maxim MG, shoot very long bursts, have lots of ammo and since availability is set to very_common there may be two or even three per airfield. Maximum attack altitude set to 300. This adds a pinch of realism and lot of fun to low-level bombing. And luckily they are not as lethal as stock flak.
Highly recommended to use with any mod reducing stock flak accuracy so that you'll be able to escape MG fire by gaining altitude without getting shredded by the cannons. Gundata.ini from AIMOD would do nicely.
Installation: unpack in Objects\GroundObject folder. Copy Texture folder from 13pdrAAA to AAMG, and Texture folder from 77mmKFlak to GERMG. Machine guns will be placed on the map randomly.

Beutepanzer rear guns to AA
By Gr.Viper
Since two gunners in rear sponsons never see ground combat, this mod arms them with machine guns and gets them to target aircraft. This gives a nice dense 'trench fire' effect if you fly low behind the panzers in an allied craft.
The rest of the tank's guns still work against ground targets.
To install, unpack and place the .ini file into Objects\GroundObject\BeutepanzerIVF folder of First Eagles

JG1 Rittmeister Manfred von Richthofen's Albatros DV 2059/17
By JFM
Jagdgeschwader Nr.1 Rittmeister Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen's Albatros D.V 2059/17, circa August 1917. This skin features "washed" national fuselage insignia, green/mauve camouflage on wings, varying shades of red from overlapped coats of paint (visible in photographs, historians theorize the nose and tail were initially painted red before the rest of the fuselage was "filled in" with a thinner, translucent coat), Garuda propeller, wooden wing roots, square fuselage footstep, and port wing footstep.
Please see READ ME for notes and installation instructions.

Second Marne / Hundred Days Offensive Campaign Pack
By Pancho
This pack contains two campaigns for Third Wire Production’s flight simulator First Eagles: “Second Battle of the Marne” and “Hundred Days Offensive.” These campaigns portray events in the Verdun Sector during the German offensive and Allied counteroffensives between 15 July and 12 September 1918. Players can now begin their FE careers in mid-July rather than mid-September, covering the entire period when the USAS was equipped with the SPAD XIII.

Factory finish Fokker DVII texture by Chock
By Chock
For those who prefer their Fokker D VII aircraft not to attract too much attention from the RFC, here is a new texture set for the Fokker D VII in Third Wire's First Eagles sim.
This repaint is intended to portray a typical Fokker D VII as it would appear after having been at the front for a few weeks, coming direct from the Fokker factory.
The standard factory finish from the Fokker works was not the lozenge camouflage as many suppose, but a pale blue colour with olive drab streaks, the streaks being applied by semi-skilled workers with nothing more sophisticated than a three inch-wide paintbrush! This led to some widely differing camouflage patterns on Fokker aircraft, although the standard application was supposed to be with vertical streaks on the fuselage and streaks at approximately 45 degrees on the upper surfaces.
The type designation and serial number on this repaint is spurious, however, it is a reasonable facsimile of the Fokker works designation system, and is one of several ways to identify a Fokker-built D VII from one built under licence by Albatross, examples of which, usually featured a more fanciful font for the serial number stencilling.
To install this texture in your First Eagles sim, just create a new folder called Factory Finish in your D VII folder and put all the files from this zip dpownload in there. Have fun - Chock

First Eagles - Albatros DVa Cockpit
By Aladar
A quick disclaimer.
The cockpit isn't at it's best, there are limitations of the Albatros model that prevent a few things. For one, the cockpit padding cannot be hidden, so you'll be seeing the external models padding instead of my own high res padding. Secondly, the MG stocks can't be hidden, so I didn't see any reason to model much more than what you see sofar.
TK said he'd fix this in the next patch, and when he does, I'll do a revisit and fix these things, but for now you'll have to live with them.
Anywho, hope y'all enjoy the cockpit as much as I did making it. :)

Jasta 40 Fokker D7 of Carl Degelow
By SH71
This skin represents Carl Degelow's Fokker D7 of Jasta 40. the skin was created with perhaps more accurate 5 color German lozenge camo(there is considerable debate on the subject).
Degelow was Staffel commander of Jasta 40. Before the war he worked in the U.S. as an Industrial chemist. He was the last German soldier to recieve the Blue Max. He is credited with 30 victories.

Heck Mitchell's WW1 Poor Bloody Infantry Mod
By Heck
I've gotten permission from Kesselbrut to post a version of his WW2 infantry for use in First Eagles. Here's the laundry list of odd things:
1. They're WW2 lods, so one man in each squad has a bazooka that fires as a rifle.
2. All squads, French, British, German, and American, have lods that show a tripod mounted Browning type 30 cal machine gun, although each different nationality is armed with a machine gun from the gun data ini: French, Hotchkiss; Germans, Maxims; British, Vickers; and Americans, Colt-Brownings.
3. I had to increase the rifleman's rate of fire to 30 rpm just to get the little peckerwoods to fire at all.
4. I changed the French uniform color to as close to Horizon Blue as my color blind eyes would let me, but now the Frenchman are a little pasty, and seem to have a mild sunburn. I am not a graphic artist.
5. Although I've changed the data ini weapons and detection systems to say AIR_AND_GROUND, the little jerks still just fire at each other, and I don't know why, although it might be that because of the range at which they start they are already engaged with opposing forces. This mod will give you infantry squads blazing away at each other in single missions (Army Co-operation), especially if you change the data inis of your tanks to RARE, and VERY_RARE, availabilities. And, like me, you might enjoy running the little buggers down with your prop and landing gear.
Just put the folders into your ground object folder and the GUNDATA.INI into your object folder and it will work. Hopefully someone will make some real WW1 infantry.

Fokker DVII Flown by Ltn Alois Heldmann (also flown by Oblt Lothar V. Richtofen in July 1918)
By Jambock__36
Ltn Alois Heldmann Fokker D.VII - serial 244/18 - Jasta 10 / 1918. The misconception that this aircraft was flown by Lothar von Ricthofen comes from a series of photographs taken when D.VII 244/18 was borrowed by Lothar in July 1918. Indeed Lothar von Richtofen's flight in that aircraft, during which he accomplished his 30th victory.
You can select this skin in the "Loadout" screen. Enjoy!
Skin created by "Killer-Ants" (Jambock__36), based on templates and existing paintschemes provided by Thirdwire and profiles by Osprey Publishing "Aircraft of the Aces" and an unamed digital profile. Streak pattern borrowed from a M. Miller rendering.
