In real life this is a radio guidance and targetting device for command line missiles. In game terms it is an eye candy for realistic payload. It has no effect on the missiles nor a requirement for launching CGR type or payload.

I have included it in Yak-38 loadout and weapon stations code, in Vertical 1.0 -- hopefully will be out in a few days.
