RA-5C Vigilante in the Vietnam War.
Simple skin pack with a few sets of skins for the Navy RA-5C Vigilante that flew recon missions during the air war over Vietnam between 1965 and 1974.
This mod offers my personal approach to the Vigilante in the Vietnam War. It is not intended to replace or compete with previous packs. I recommend testing it before removing any older mods, as you may prefer one over the other. It is based on my old pack from 10 years ago. This new pack was built already some time ago around my other mods covering CVW deployments in the Vietnam War. So it is intended to work with my Vietnam Air War Navy releases.
Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.)
All serial numbers are historically correct. (Hope) But I have not yet completed the whole research. So updates are possible.
If I was not sure or have no information about the number/modex, it is marked on the number.lst file.
During service, many RA-5C were lost. My tail numbers are mostly original unit deployment before any replacements were made.
New skin on new templates. Now skins are 4096x4096 - but you should probably resize them to your desired format.
All decals are new and made by me.
RVAH-6 green camo just a generic camo paint. As all those aircraft had some differences in camouflage patterns.
I made a strobe pod for RA-5C, with an experimental flash/strobe effect. It works as RP, so you have only 64 strobe shots. It should be instant, quick strobe flash...but I do not know how to fix it anymore.
RA-5C tailcone. - Via fake pilot I've added tailcone. So no need to load/unload an empty fuel pack. It will always appear on aircraft.
Fuselage fuel pack is loaded optionally as FT.
Added Data.ini file with correct lines for adding strobe pod and that fake pilot tailcone. Some small edit, removed Strike capability, fixed collision points and hit boxes to my liking.
Also fixed chaff/flare positions.

Pilots that I used are the same as in previous packs. But these are with non-transparent visors. So if you want to keep .tga visors, do not copy pilot files.
While RA-5C models are not mine and you are free to use them as you wish, this mod (skin sets, pilots) or any part of it in this current form should not be used in any campaign, mission pack, or any mod without my permission.
