Can you guess what I spent my weekend doing? :)

I've got it to a point where its flyable in-game and Volksjaeger will soon start painting it.

Cheers :)

THought about maybe a "G" model two-seater? Since we have shrikes and now harm missiles, a Wild Weasel version would be killer. I have tons of pics of the F-105G.

I have thought about making a G, it's something I'd really like to do. It's all a matter of getting enough effort together to divide up some f-105G blueprints, throw them in max, jig some stuff around and remap the re-jigged parts ;)

One will be needed for the vietnam campaign so I guess I'll have to do it at some point :)

Now that you (and the rest of the mod community) got us salivating, WHEN!!!!

Good Looking model. How much time it took you to get to this 3D modelling level? I have just started and I see a steep hill in front of me.

When? Around the time we release the vietnam addon.

I've been modelling about a year and a half, but like anything, it's the hours you put in and the new things you try that will dictate how long it takes you to become able to make realistic looking models.

Lucky son of a bitch Fates :P

Someday I'm gonna have to plan a trip to the US just to see a Thud. Looking forward to the rest of the photos.

Might want to check a few more photos before stating opinions ;)

Fates,

Love Pima - great place!

Many years ago my daughter (then 6, now 31) and I were vollunteers there. We took the F-104D (to the left of the Thud in your pic) out of mothballs - removed all the Spraylat and preservative and got it ready for display.

Sorry for othe OT.
