In the Comics, Superman gave Batman a Kryptonite Ring to use against him should he ever turn evil. Besides, Bats is just cooler!

Superman.

 

Batman is just a regular guy with no super powers. He isn't really even a super-hero in the strictest sense, whereas Superman is among the most powerful truly super-powered beings.

 

Now, it is true that Batman could use kryptonite, but Superman could just stop the earth's rotation, which according to the Movie would stop time (since rotating the earth backwards reverses time...its logical that stopping the rotation woudl stop time) and kill Batman while he was frozen in time.

 

Batman is still my favorite of the two, but let's be real here. :D

Superman would do in Batman before Batman was even able to squeeze into his silly rubber suit. There's just no question here. With the exception of kryptonite, there is no device Batman could use against Superman that he couldn't overcome.

 

And yes, I'm wasting time. I'm supposed to be doing daily status reports, and instead I'm arguing with a co-worker about the Batman/Superman thing.

Like C5 says, Batman has no actual superpowers, where as Superman is pretty bloody amazing, laser vision, ice breath, flying, super strength, the works. Superman would win hands down before Batman even has a chance.

See that's the problem with Batman comics. They let him build all of these impossible devices and let him cook up drugs with no scientific basis, whereas its established scientific fact that exposure to our yellow sun gives Kryptonians extraordinary powers. So we are really talking about fact (Superman) versus fantasy (Batman).
