This is a model borrowed from Rick of inSky forum,which is a different model from the fallout3's.

What do you think of it?

PS:Rick is a Lock On modder, the second picture is his J-10 mod in Lock On: flamming cliff

I'm not Lavi,my name is J-10A,Mr Smith :biggrin:

I want to thank Fast Cargo for teaching me how to import the model into the game, and there is still a lot for me to learn.

This is actually my first time making a mod for SFP/WOE/WOV

So could you tell me how to make the canards controled by both the roll control and the pitch control?

it seems it just follows only one of them, What should I do?

You put the conards down twice in the data.ini once for roll control and the second for pitch control. Thats how the mirage and kfir do it. Check out their ini if you can't figure it out

Actually, there is a more 'blended' way. Check the latest data.ini for the F-14...note this entry:

[LeftStabilizer]

SystemType=CONTROL_SURFACE

InputName=PITCH_CONTROL

MovingSurface=TRUE

MaxDeflection=18.0

MinDeflection=-26.0

ControlRate=2.0

ModelNodeName=leftstab

RotationAxis=X-Axis

ReverseModelOrientation=TRUE

SecondaryInputName=ROLL_CONTROL

SecondaryInputFactor=0.5

Note the extra lines...I assume the SecondaryInputFactor is a number that defines how much 'gain' the secondary input can influence the surface. This seems a 'cleaner' solution rather than making 2 separate entries.

And when we talk about SECONDARY IMPUT :

I was try to use this (about 1-2 monts ago) in MiG-29 OVT, because the Thurst Vectoring see below :

[Engine1]

ReferenceName=Lyulka AL-31F

SystemType=JET_ENGINE

InputName=THROTTLE_CONTROL

EngineID=1

HasAfterburner=TRUE

ThrustVectoring=TRUE

ThrustVectorInputName=PITCH_CONTROL

ThrustVectorInputName=YAW_CONTROL <<< i will change this SecondaryInputName=

But I was in wrong way ! I'm not a computer programer, but I like TRY if my mind dream something...

FastCargo You add / sign a workable/ useable way to me, thanks

If RICK did his homework, it may require you to just replace the current MEInit.xml with his. If not.... well... backup your MEInit.xml and replace the coding with what's there, if he left proper instructions....
