I Love It When a Remake Comes Together

Well, at the time I loved wacthing it on TV.

I found it to be amusing, made me laugh a bit, when laughter was something I needed desperately.

The one who made me pee in my pants was murdock.

Murdock: Jim Carrey

Ba Barrackus: Samuel L. Jackson (get it? LMOA...he hates planes)

Hannibal: Sean Connery

Faceman: Nicholas Cage

That would be my vote

Are you serious? Her inclusion watered down the original premise of the series.

IMHO this 'remake' will suck, big time.

first Knight Rider, now this...man if Golden Girls is casting maybe this time they will get some MILFs...but maybe that is what Des. Housewives is?

What about the Magnum P.I. movie, staring Ben Afleck (I wish I was joking).

HOLLYWOOD (AP) -- Today Hollywood officially ran out of ideas for new films.

and began copying the work of old biffers. What's next? M*A*S*H? Green Acres? Three's Company? The Beverly Hillbillies (Matt Damon as Jethro!)?

Three's company will probably be done with 2 men and a woman in todays world.

I wonder if they're gonna use any of the original cast members? After all, Hasselhoff is still Michael Knight, Stallone is still Rambo and Ford is still Indiana Jones.

Isn't Mr. T still alive? If so, I think nobody could play B.A. better than him - come on, Ving Rhames is just a comedy relief compared to Mr. T.

Dunno who should be Hannibal, but definitely not Sean Connery, he's too old - Though if they're gonna do it comedy-style they could pick Steve Martin, LMAO... But Jim Carrey as Murdock would be spot on. Face would also be hard to play, but I think a good bet would be Luke Wilson.

Also, besides Mr. T, it would be nice to have Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz appear in the movie, as an homage to those which entertained us with the fantastic show back in the 80's - no matter how bad the movie will turn out to be...

Edit: I heard that Hasselhof is going to appear in the Knight Rider remake... could be fun after all...

The KR "reboot" already aired. Yes, it's a Mustang. The Hoff has a 5 min cameo in at the very end. It wasn't very interesting, really. Val Kilmer did the voice and that wasn't that great either.

dah, I should have guessed. It's disgusting how some of the best, most timeless shows and songs are beign brutallized in an attempt to make them moderen and popular again. We saw Thunderbirds go down, then Speed Racer, then Rocky, Rambo, Indiana Jones, now Knight Rider. Hopefully the new A-team will miss the mark and end up being good.

did they at least keep the same old Knight Rider theme song?

EDIT- another addition to my list of ruined classics. Remember that groovy 70's song by Charles Wright calle "Express Yourself"? Well it was redone by some woman pop/soft rock singer and it's horrible.
