Problems with their GPS? Cause that's more than just a little bit off their way...

Awesome. Of course in the UK the Air Force aren't even considered to be competition, it's all about the Army-Navy game.

Imagine the face of my dad (navy) when i told him i would join the air force :no::rofl:

I´m sure he will talk to me again someday

Something deeply impresses me about the new usn CVL photo:

I know that the crisis, subprime bailout and all this mess is causing

budget to fall short, but this... you still keep tomcats in service?

might be tough for you to ship me a bottle through the mail!

I suppose (on the remote and unlikely chance that I might have to fess up) that I could drink it first......

I did that in reverse! And now, imagine the scene in my abode when my daughter brought a (gasp) AF Academy cadet home to meet the family!!! Made the last couple of service academy games quite interesting with Navy, AF and USMC all represented at the same BBQ (of course - we had real southern cooking - steaks, tacos and burritos!)

Bah, you're just pissed we broke away from you guys in 1947. Tomcat lover though I be, I am also training in the more silvery-winged service. Go Air Force!

EDIT: I also can't deny that that sumbarine looks awesome.

Sure, but Navy guys never have to land in a cross wind, never have to flare, and have to be reasure themselves out loud that they've "got the ball" before they land!

Landing instructions: "Come down until you're not in the sky no more!"

This coming to you from a Marine/Zoomie

Cheers,

-A

EDIT: I too agree that that sub IS awesome.

Wow the USAF came form the Army, and you go for Navy? As my wife is Army she says you are a traitor. I agree. I always go for the Army in the Army Navy game. And the men who use tails hooks is because they don't know how to land themselves.

Let me tell ya a story...

During my time at the Colorado School for Wayward Boys, we shot a tank.

More specifically, we used a R/C plane to shoot rockets at a Army 'tank' manned by two cadets in that grass square in the middle of the terrazo during noon meal formation. Every shot hit too...

Or at least, that's what appeared to happen.

I was the rockets expert...we had our crash test dummies in the tank (well padded of course...safety first) and our R/C flyer was quite precise.

Twas a thing of beauty...and quite convincing to most everyone in formation.

Go Air Force!

I think combatace should field a team. I figure it'd look something like this:

I think I'll say neutral with the whole navy vs air force thing, seeing as Canada has both but neither are very noteworthy, and I'm a fan of the F-4, which is kinda neutral too.
