I been keeping current in the SH and Legacy series hornets as well. Gotta keep my carrier qualification. Sucks, when we go into port, then leave and start another cruise, then we gotta get all our traps again.

That is when you just extend and escape. You are right, you aren't going to win that one.

That's what I did. Also pulled out Three and Four. Two already went down by that time. No kills, mission failed. Still, if we weren't there a low-flying flight of A-4s in the area would be wiped out completely.

 

Funny, how head-on engagements with Frescos start with the words "I can't shake him!" With other planes it usually takes a minute or two
