Damn Stary, your work among the most essential for updating the games to a more modern appearance. I can't wait for these new tiles. I wonder if you have had any luck with tweaking the alpha material for the new 1024 version?

Dude don't say that, maybe when you're out of the country..... I've talked to an "Eaglette" and a Kiowaett, and even an Apachette. No man, it sounds always better to hear a female than a dude, but while still in country I'll refrain from mocking female pilots...

 

And Spinners most definitely the most exotic... scheme ever... Does honestly look cool though

I am playing a campaign that Blatika released on the original SF Series Red Wings Over Dhimar as inspiration for one I am doing for SF2. I fought this guy several times over the course of several missions, never was able to get him, and he could never get me, although he did kill some squadron mates of mine. It became sort of an obsession of mine to look for him and go after him. I finally did, and it was kind of a somber moment as I watched him spiral to earth.

 

It has been a tough war though:

 

 

It is nice to note that 2 pilots had 1 kill each when we started with MiG-19s in 1959.

 

Oh and 6 of my Kills have been C-130s. and 8 were A-4s, so I'm not that Sierra Hotel.

Spinners Nice colour scheme on the Eagle but the RAF would have bought Tomcats and we all know it given them Spey Engines... and scared the bejesus out of the boys flying eagles at Mildenhall like the F-14D drivers did across the river from Langley when they got the D Tomcats brand new and where testing them out...
