Where are the mod folders for Vista 64-bit? I find no folders in my Documents under my name.

Thanks, Caesar, just found it. Sorry, bud, just a false alarm. A little teething troubles.

The new CAT extractor says I have extracted all of the FlightData.cat files, but I cannot find the campaign files anywhere. Which folder and where?

Got it working. Wierd thing...if you install to the default Program Files (x86) directory, nothing shows up in your Flight folder. Install it to a different directory? Hey, sonofa@#$&, there it is!

How do you add new campaigns? Where do the files go?

Thank you, sir. Just noodling around with this thing. Kinda fun. Like getting a new toy or something.

Question.

Let me give you an example and ya'll tell me where I've screwed up.

If create a copy of a campaign.ini file and it's corresponding _Data.ini file, do I just place those two files in the new Campaigns folder in my Mods directory or is there like a subfolder I need to make?

EDIT: Never mind! I got it!

Geez. I must sound like a hysterical moron.

Pfunk, maybe you could creat a notebook style knowledge base on SF2 to let others now how to accomplish some of the things you have done. :good:

Glad to, and if there's ANY question as to what I did, please ask.

Found out something really interesting. If you only have one skin for the particular aircraft, you do NOT have to edit the campaignX_data.ini file. Just specify what aircraft you want the unit to fly in the CampaignX.ini file and the game handles the rest for you.

The path for winXp for adding new planes is :

C:\Documents and Settings\"name"\My Documents\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects\Aircraft

I just added formidable Gepard's Su-20

and all works fine :good:

Thanks pfunk, caesar and dave for the hints!
