Guest pfunkmusik Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 The new CAT extractor says I have extracted all of the FlightData.cat files, but I cannot find the campaign files anywhere. Which folder and where? pfunk Quote
Guest pfunkmusik Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Got it working. Wierd thing...if you install to the default Program Files (x86) directory, nothing shows up in your Flight folder. Install it to a different directory? Hey, sonofa@#$&, there it is! pfunk Quote

Guest pfunkmusik Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) Question. Let me give you an example and ya'll tell me where I've screwed up. If create a copy of a campaign.ini file and it's corresponding _Data.ini file, do I just place those two files in the new Campaigns folder in my Mods directory or is there like a subfolder I need to make? pfunk EDIT: Never mind! I got it! Geez. I must sound like a hysterical moron. Edited January 26, 2009 by pfunkmusik Quote
Guest pfunkmusik Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 OK, now it's Strike Fighters. pfunk Quote

gbnavy61 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Thanks, pfunk. Great call on the images - takes care of a lot of the ambiguity. Quote
Guest pfunkmusik Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Glad to, and if there's ANY question as to what I did, please ask. Found out something really interesting. If you only have one skin for the particular aircraft, you do NOT have to edit the campaignX_data.ini file. Just specify what aircraft you want the unit to fly in the CampaignX.ini file and the game handles the rest for you. pfunk Quote
Spinners Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 pfunkmusik - your work on the knowledge base is very much appreciated! Well done. Quote
