Very thorough review, not sugar-coated, which is the way I like to write `em, and love to read `em!

 

I still haven't bought it, as my magazine has shown no interest for a review, or existing for much longer, for that matter.

 

Once I get a few bucks ahead, and as you pointed out, remarkably few, I probably will.

 

Oh, and;

Well I standby what I said over there... it wasn't a con even worth bringing up

 

* Limited mod-ability due to weapons pack.

 

When hasn't TK not come through with the modding tool? To me it was con written up just so there another con to have on the list.

 

As I said good article but the above mentioned wasn't even worth bringing up. Gives someone the sense that of the box I cant do much modding of the weapons its not that good. Totally wrong IMHO. As I told you P, you review out of the box, then you do a follow up review of what you can do to it later. Never mix the two.

I've enjoyed SF2 since it came out and, overall, I found the review to be fair and accurate. Nicely written too!

Do not get me wrong his review was great, I just disagree with that last part on the Cons section. Not everyone is going to mod this sim. And we also know the tools are coming. So it wasn't even worth a mention.

For me the only con is the killing off of MP. Everything else about it is better than previous releases, just like every TW sim is better than the one before.

Ok, the smaller variety of airframes is a minor con. F-4s and A-4s coming out of your ears, but I would've liked another airframe to replace the missing 104s.
