The ini is the same as yours, and the F35Engine.wav is in the sound folder as well.

I've had this problem intermittently as well, I think it has something to do with the format I used for the F35 engine sound, but it works consistently for the B & C models, just one of those things, I guess.

Edit: The 2.1 installation seems to have fixed this problem.

sounds works on A and B not the C strange thing.

@Klavs, thx for those great models and cockpit. I love to fly those birds.. FM is very nice and smooth. Excelent animations! Thx so much.

will you replicate the B canopyshinning to the other models?

I've got the sound working fine for the A and B, but the C only has afterburner sounds. Funny thing is, I switched the sound in the data.ini to the standard "jetengine" sound file, and it still doesn't work. Very strange... any tips or ideas ?

Other than that glitch - a very nice package that's simply a hoot to fly!

The _data.ini's are missing one entry :

[DetectSystem]

...

RangeUnit=NM <-------- add this

...

Without it,the AI is "blind" ...

And in the avionics ini's ...

[RadarData]

...

ACMMaxPitchAngle=70.0 <--- remove from the RadarData section and move it ....

....

[RadarDisplayACM]

RangeSetting=2

ScanBeamAngle=10.0

ACMMaxPitchAngle=70.0 <--------- here into the RadarDisplayACM section

.....

Re: the sound for the C model, I hacked the ini by putting // in front of the fuel dump engine lines, and the engine sound returned.

Immaculate timing! I was just trying to fix that problem. Combat Ace costumer service has earned a five star rating! Thanks again for your hard work.

I'm on it.

Give me a few, as I am flying a new beta of OBH in the Tiffy, over on the games machiner. Will start another in the USAF Lightening afterward...

___UPDATE___

Negatory, big buddy. The "A" model cockpit looks both hunky-and-dory from inside or out.

This jet just rocks, IMHO...

You add it just like a weapon my friend. In the knowledge base there is the procedure.

I know that Dave and without sounding beligerent I've been adding weapons, CFT's etc for long enough to not have refer to the KB. If you like I can even post my weapon and gun data enteries. Sorry if I'm royal pain in the arse.

I think it happens in some occasions because the pit's skin has a huge resolution. I think it's a memory problem.
