RichardG Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Just noticed this today on merged Israel 2 install with no mods. Radar is messed up like I'm pointed at the ground (ground clutter), but this is mission start, with nose pointed at the horizon. It doesnt clear up either. Quote
Rambler 1-1 Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I had this problem running the first gen, no patch SFP1 F-104 in 2nd gen sims. I've no idea what caused it, but it was solved by patching SFP1 THEN putting the F-104 into SF2. This is the TW Kurnass, I presume? Quote

RichardG Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Nothing wrong with hatin' F4s....lol Its a stock Third Wire F4. Some other do it too, like 75 kurnass, and couple more I cant remember. Quote
+Sundowner Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 I must admit I've tried all my versions & cant replicate the problem m8, I have the Dec 09 combo pack. Quote
Rambler 1-1 Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 re-install? Turn-it-off-and-turn-it-back-on-again? Quote
MigBuster Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Nothing wrong with hatin' F4s....lol Its a stock Third Wire F4. Some other do it too, like 75 kurnass, and couple more I cant remember. Is this the combo pack - or did you merge the games separately - if so what order? Quote
RichardG Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Seperate merge. Everything but the first SF2. (Vietnam 2, Europe 2, Israel 2 merge.) Did complete reinstall. It shows up on all the Kurnass models. Quote
MigBuster Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Suggest telling 3rdWire about the problem so it can be fixed. As for fixing it yourself - well cant help you to much there - depends how much modding you do. One work around (which I cant test) may be to use the F-4E avionics file. make a backup of the F-4E_kurnass_xx.ini file you want to change - then change: [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=F-4E Kurnass (75) AircraftShortName=Kurnass AircraftDataFile=F-4E_Kurnass_75_data.INI LoadoutFile=F-4E_Kurnass_75_loadout.INI UserList=F-4E_Kurnass_75_UserList.INI CockpitDataFile=F-4E_Kurnass_75_cockpit.INI LoadoutImage=F-4E_Kurnass_73_loadout.TGA HangarScreen=F-4E_Kurnass_75_hangar.JPG LoadingScreen=F-4E_Kurnass_75_Loading.JPG AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.DLL AvionicsDataFilename=F-4E_72_avionics.INI <-------for example If it doesnt work just set it back. DaniloE31 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I had this same problem one time. It happened to me using a radar background texture in TGA format. With the latest graphic engine you can only use a BMP texture (as far as I know... ). Did you messed up in any way with the cockpit textures? I can see weird stripes around your HUD... Danilo Quote
RichardG Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 I reported this to Third Wire. TK is looking into it. Thanks for that migbuster. I'll just stick to flying Kfirs for a while. Quote
RichardG Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) TK confirmed its an installer problem. Fix coming. http://bbs.thirdwire....php?f=9&t=7335 Edited February 3, 2010 by RichardG Quote
