+Monty CZ Posted June 8, 2010 Author Posted June 8, 2010 Hey guys I´ve just saw the future... "C´mon it is not so different, we need good Bf-109C and you made the D already" :-) if something then it could be S-99 because I prepared some parts in my model, then CS-199 but first of all I have my paraglider already packed in my car and leaving for holiday :-) See you next week Monty CZ Quote
+Soulfreak Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Have fun Monty! ;) I´ll be off on Friday. 3 Days short trip to an German Baltic sea island... Quote
ndicki Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 (edited) or re-nosed to the Daimler engines; slews of F/G/etc Bf-109s!!! (we need good opponents for SF2: WW2!!!) wrench kevin stein Wake up, Kevin! You're a bit slow off the mark... The Avia S-99 is the local redesignation for the Bf109g-14. Then with TK's Spits and Mustangs, there's business to be done! Edited June 9, 2010 by ndicki Quote
Slartibartfast Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 That sure looks pretty in an ugly way as that motor on the front end is a bit of a mess... lol... Also can we shoot our propellers off like it used to do in real-life ??? Quote
Wilches Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Good news for prop fans like me! Hope that some new cockpit comes along too... Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Mh ... CS-199.... mh .... (homer simpson smiley missing ) Quote
+Brain32 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Wake up, Kevin! You're a bit slow off the mark... The Avia S-99 is the local redesignation for the Bf109g-14. AFAIK it's G-10 Quote
ndicki Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 AFAIK it's G-10 You're right. My (French) reference book that I did a quick check in is not. "Messerschmitt Me109 Volume II" by Dominique Breffort and Andre Jouineau, page 78. Never buy books published by Histoire et Collections. They have so many careless mistakes and unreliable "facts" in that you can't catch all of them. Anyway, with an S-99, you can do a G-6AS, G-10, G-10AS and G-14AS. Quote
Wilches Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Could anyone skin that? http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Gal2/1201-1300/Gal1203_S-199_Pepper/00.shtm Quote
ndicki Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 I mean to in due course, but don't hold your breath! I have a lot to do, not all for SF... Quote
+Monty CZ Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Hello all, so I survived my holiday (I am saying that because I was doing this: :-) ) and weather is bad again so I can continue my work. I saw 1948 campaign released and nobody complained about any bugs so there will be czech version soon. But I was thinking about another feature - I would like to simulate engine overheating. Was it simulated before? Is there a way? I have dummy jet engine included for radiator/flaps movement and I was thinking that way... MontyCZ Quote
+Gocad Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 As far as I remember engines do overheat...although they usually start to be on fire then and explode soon after.... Quote
ndicki Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Grief, Monty, sooner you than me! That shows brains, a dummy jet engine! Quote
Wrench Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Brother, you're FAR braver than I am ... I'm an acrophope!!! Never get me on one of them contraptions!!! wrench kevin stein Quote
+Soulfreak Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Welcome back Monty, hope you had a great time! ;) Could anyone skin that? http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Gal2/1201-1300/Gal1203_S-199_Pepper/00.shtm Sure,, if Monty got some templates, it will be quite easy! Quote
+Monty CZ Posted June 17, 2010 Author Posted June 17, 2010 Hello all, I want to release Czechoslovak version of Avia, but I have one more thing to do. Even though I already know how to do droptanks with texture by plane color, I dont know how to set it in case of gunpods. Yes I can allways make 3 different gunpods but you have tochange them manualy when changed texture. And mission generato isnt able to do this. Any Ideas? and BTW in case CS-199 the instructor pilot was on back seat ...do you want to be instructor or student? :-) MontyCZ Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Great news, a two seater :D maybe you could do it like Amokfloo did it with his Mirage 2000D, you can switch the positions during flight, I know, not very realistic but a damn cool feature You did a great job on the 199! Quote
+Kulbit80 Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Ahoj! Is there a chance to get Czechoslovakian version of Avia s-199 for First Gen. Sims Monty? Quote
+Monty CZ Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Kulbit I didnt tried the FM in 1st gen sim so I can try and if it fly well I will release it MontyCZ Quote
+Soulfreak Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Monty, have fixed the thing with the gunpods? Maybe you should ask Amokfloo. I think he can help you! Quote
+Monty CZ Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 No I let it go as it is... in real life I dont know if specific plane had specific gunpods so maybe "they armed it with default one" :-) MontyCZ Monty, have fixed the thing with the gunpods? Maybe you should ask Amokfloo. I think he can help you! Quote
+Monty CZ Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 reverse engineering in action :-) MontyCZ Quote
