American Females

My post is mainly addressed to Americans here. Over the past 2 weeks, Athens has been full of groups of young American girls---18-20. I have seen them walking around and even talked to one of their teachers.

I noticed two things: In one group of about 50 from the Carolinas and Utah, most of the girls were fat and short. The bous looked fat too.

In another group of about 35, from Arizona this time, the girls were okay in weight, but also short. The boys looked fine here, but not taller.

Greek girls pass them by hafl a head in height--most of them, and are better proportioned.

Now I remember that in the 70's things were not this way--the girls lokked better and taller.

What is happening? Has the diet changed and caused this transformation?

Is it regional?

What you seen was McGirls and McBoys.

 

except the ones from Arizona....AZ chicks are all good...especially those from ASU.

I agree with Fates about the McGirls and McBoys description.

 

McDonald's and other fast food restaurant-type meals are a major contributor to expanding wastelines.

 

Please do not take my comments as an EXCUSE for such appearances. It is not. But, combine such a diet with a less active lifestyle, and you get increased weight, in my opinion.

 

The computer age has not helped. Speaking for myself, I know I spend way too much time in front of this screen!

 

But the combination of bad diets and a decrease in exercise, is (again my thoughts) the main reasons for our "largeness".

 

Anyone else agree?

 

The best looking women I ever saw, was when I lived in Mankato, MN, while attending Mankato State U., way back in the late 70s.

Its definately a reflection of where they're from in U.S. I can't stand going to school in South Carolina, compared to my home state of Texas. Seems like the average girl in SC is about ten pounds heavier than in Texas. Everyone I call attractive is considered anorexic by the locals, haha. As for height, I've never really noticed anything profoundly different.

tis true, tis true... My brother recently went to India. Here, people think he's skinny. But he fit right in in India. I'm not sure bought the height thing, most girls are taller than me (I'm 5'10"ish, I havn't measured in a long time :) ) But then again, you may have just seen a bad bunch, there's plenty of attractive girls around here :D.

There's some of that around here, but ya'll ought go to the college I go to, hotness 360 degrees. I guess it's a Kansas thing, huh? And ya, I've been out to K-State, amazingness.

The sad thing is no one wants to exercise these days. People try and cut carbs and things but to loose weight you have to replace the fat with muscle. Muscle burns calories doing nothing. But I know one girl that eats Taco Bell every day and this is just about the norm for a lot of people these days. When I work out I have to over exert my self to get any thing done. People that work out and say it does not help are lazy. Like a lot of Americans we just don't want to work for any thing a lot of the time.

 

Like for example I went to a hospital to get a test done. And the people that work there were just talking and not working I waited a few mins sitting in the lab. I finally clapped my hands as if I were a drill Sergeant and said, "let’s go let’s go I don't have all day". I envy my brother he is in the SF (Marine Force Recon) he works out all day long. He has no choice I wish I could be forced to do that.

It is as I suspected all along--a diet thing, resulting from McDonald's plus lack of exercise.

In Holland, the girls were strong, tall, but not fat--15 years ago when I was there twice. Germany the same.

France, where I went twice in the 2 past years, the girls are average height, and slightly fatter than they were 20 years ago, but the majority is still thin.

Russian girls, plenty in Athens since 1992, are tall and very beautiful when young. When they marry, they deteriorate as all women (and men) do.

In England, they seemed fine--the majority--with rosy cheeks and giving the impression they were still being milked by mother--but horrid clothes.

In the Czech Republic, pretty, thin, but many cases of bad teeth--and all married people, men or women--have lovers after work, at 3 or 4, before they get home at 6 or 7 pm--but they keep the marriage for the kids. In Poland, very pretty, blonde, and underloved--their men do not seem to care much to get a girl.

They drink like fish.

 

The men seem to have changed everywhere too. In Greece, in the 70s and 80s and earlier, men chased girls all the time, eveywhere, in the street, on the bus, at school, at work, etc.... In the past 10 years, they do not, and girls have a hard time finding a boyfriend. Same in France. In Germany, it was always that way.

 

Last year I was teaching a class of 22 very pretty Greek girls (only one was not a real beauty in this group--the married one) and they often asked me to bring them boys from another class I had in a nearby school, where my group was 23 handsome young men. "They don't talk to us, sir" was their usual complaint.

The boys would often say "they play hard to get, sir". A breakdown in communication is what that usually means.

 

But a diet problem is serious. It means the average public health standard is going downhill, and if it is not checked, the nation deteriorates, both physically and mentally, as the two go together here.

English women are getting fatter, I notice it especially in my university.

 

The problem here is not McDonalds, but drinking. A lot of girls here have beer bellies. Alot of girls will go out and drink 5 or 6 pints of beer in a night.

 

In the last 6 months I've got to know a lot of different nationalities. Easily the best dressed, most desirable, have been French girls. Sorry to say though, in this case the stereotype seems true, French girls are fairly stuck-up.

 

The most fun to go out with were definitely the Italian girls.

 

Most men here develop beer bellies, but I dont think we have a big problem with obesity in men, not until mid-30's anyway.

 

Nick, you are right about the dress sense of English women. It's appauling, they all dress like Britney spears accepting only the latest trends. It's unfortunately due to a major lack of confidence.

Here are a couple of Kalifornia girls. My middle daughter and her best friend.

Both are tall and between 5'4"-5'6" and thin compared to most of the other girls the hang out with.

This is my tomboy/punk rocker. I wanted a boy, parents wanted revenge, God gave me Amber.

Our military is the best not debating that. It's the majority of civilians that are the weak ones. We are the fattest nation in the world. This is what I was refering to not any thing military related.
