exhausted Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 I found him at the Yuma Air Show. It looks like he is slimmer then I remember him in from the future, and he hasn't yet decided he likes the goatee. He is currently an F-5 pilot, and has yet to try the T-65 X-Wing. Hell, I think the X-Wing still has yet to be invented. Anyways, here he is in the future: And here he is in the present: Quote
CowboyTodd41 Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Haha holy crap, he's even got the yellow visor, I love it. Quote
SayethWhaaaa Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 lol... But you know what? He looks suspiciously like Dr. Hartman too. Quote
FOTF Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 No....I work with Porkins. I would get in trouble for posting a pic of him....but he is a spot on dead ringer for Porkins. I mean dead on....same face, same thin nasty looking beard. I swear if I did not see Porkins on the big screen 30 years ago, it was the same guy We even call him Red Six. Quote
Fubar512 Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) No....I work with Porkins. Sorry, but I have you beat by over 3 decades.....I worked for Porkins, or rather, Porkins was one of the shift foreman at a job I started at in 1977.... The Autumn after the release of Star Wars, I went to work for a transporation company. As I was new (and therefore the lowest man on the totum pole), I wound up turning wrenches on the Midnight-8AM shift, and the foreman on that shift (a fellow by the name of Gary) was a dead-ringer for Porkins. He was like 6'1", 300 lbs, same scruffy red beard, and often wore amber-tinted shades (it was the 1970s, afterall). Edited April 6, 2011 by Fubar512 Quote

Razorback Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Such an epic fail... Porkins died ten million years ago. Quote

JediMaster Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I've only seen him one other time I can recall. He was one of the 2 Army intelligence guys talking to Jones and Marcus at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Since that was 1936 he's certainly long dead by now. Quote
Fightingirish Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Porkins got it from behind......:yikes:that's funny!! "Squeal like a piggy porkins"..........oops sorry wrong film Edited April 7, 2011 by Fightingirish Quote

He was also a Lt. for the Gotham Police department in the late 80s when Mr. Mom put on a Bat suit "Hey Eckhardt! Think about the future!" Quote
SayethWhaaaa Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) He spent a good 30ish years in the UK doing theatre. Apparently he was quite the thespian. And some VO work. Edited April 7, 2011 by Say What?! Quote
+allenjb42 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Sadly no longer with us But what a career. And caught up in the JFK conspiracy too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hootkins Quote

FOTF Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Damn....there's just no winning with a Jedi. On a lighter side.....imagine being an actor with a "little extra padding" and landing the role of "Porkins"....what are the odds? Quote
JediMaster Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 What if the character was originally named Jenkins, then Lucas saw him... Quote
