progress status

yes i know im late for the news , i decided to remodel a lots of parts in models since i wasn't happy with the results so i remodeled almost half of the jet in the E block and the same will be with the F block

f-16 block 70E model 88% done while the block 70F model still on 70% done

f-16 block 70E

new les RCS nozzle & engine model done

new intake model done

new fuselage & airbrakes done

new vertail & rudder with all its details done

some details had been modified in the nose

all new landing gears 99% done ( new tires left only for 100% )

all new wings , flaps , slats done

all new lights systems

all new electronics systems ( ECM , IFF ... etc )

the skins will be out soon

note : all of our f-16s models not 100% skinned so those skins for test only that means the actual skins not yet done and the model not 100% uvmaped

Hi guys!

Is it me, the screenshots? I have the feelings some proportions are not quite..... in proportion...

Can't put my finger on it, something feels wrong. Sorry, don't wanna offend but maybe there

have been changes in the real life 16s I am not aware of.

Cheers

hi muesli

no , there are nothing wrong in the model i just checked it 3 times and compared the model on 3 view blueprints and it is okay

i thought the same but it appears that is skin issue , i conform this and i'll post some more rendered model screens without skin

skin and uvmapping will defiantly change the look of this bird

keep up the nice work man :good: do you have maybe renders on lighter background ? a light grey if possible, and of higher resolution ? Shots from angle , it will be easier for me for evaulation to see perspective view :)

At first sight I would say that the nose and maybe the canopy don't look the same as an F-16. but it seems from renders that the block 70 have this things different from a standard Fighting Falcon.

dntknw.gifIMHO there is no problem with the F-16. maybe the FOV on the screenshots give an wrong "feeling" of the size...drinks.gif

Screen resolution settings sometimes screw up pics... from the model renders looks okay to me.

@ spillone

block 50/52 & 60 & 70's noses are different than the old vipers due to aesa radar , the aesa radars noses looks smaller and shorter

we used block HAF block 52 c&d blueprints 3 views to model the nose and the cockpit and the fuselage

@ ericj

see the tires below i made new ones

btw nobody noticed the back side! well i did and fixed it immediately grin.gif

instead of that i have new upgrades and will talk by pictures!

Looking at he pics (the last ones are already a great improvement as far as I feel it), maybe the bulged tailbase could be slightly less rounded i.e. somewhat more squared towards the top and a little bit more slender towards the end . This is in fact pure "whining" but it is a matter of feeling i.e.perception: small details like this CAN make a difference in the total impression of what is otherwise an absolutely AWESOME :good: :good: :good: model !!!

Only the Block 60s have AESA (AN/APG-80) - and maybe any Block 70 would have had.

The Block 50/52 has AN/APG-68 versions currently until any future SLEP

How does the model look without the CFTs?

oooops , sorry for mistaken

i meant block 60&70's noses are different than the old vipers noses due to AESA radars

this is block 60&70 project so AESA included

block 60&70 comes with CFTs , so clean model ( without CFTs ) will not be included as block 60&70

but in the future after releasing those birds i will work on f-16 b52 CJ wild weasels using the same models with some modifications

also there are the CJ model's screens in the previous pages

Probably easier to do a single model I suspect - for the record though they dont always wear them

Does the front of the CFTs need to be a bit higher?

Also the air intake front might need a reshape
