Where can we download it from?

There is some Mi-24P in download section, but is this the same?

Wondering If is possible to design a bomb or weapon that "deploys" ground troop when you use it. This way we can simulate inserting troops!!

Yes it is defintely possible: in the least ins eries one you can make a weapon whose "crater" lod addresses the combat squad troop: so when you release them, they appear on ground; in theroy you could also add a cloud of smoke simulating helicopter downwash: I had all my hinds in series one setup in this way: I have to admit that the lazyness in moving to series two is also due to the boredom of recreating such "install finesses" from scratch

Yes, it is, check my C-160D Transall mod for SF2 to see how it works. Although credits go to OldDiego, as he pointed me to the the procedure! :good:

a public beta is released.

However there are still a lot of work left to make it a good halo.

We are seeking for a modeller to further improve the cockpit MAX

The shape and size of the cockpits seem.... questionable.

inevitably the photo is affected by the length of focus. How far did the photographer took that shoot?

Beta or not, it seems to already have been issued to the Carrier Groups ;-)

I did nothing to it, was actually testing something else when I saw this :D

I must agree with gerwin. The shape of the cockpit, especially the pilots cockpit needs a little bit work.

And the left stubwing has a camera comparement. If you see at the upper picture in gerwins post you will see it on the upper end of the left wing.

Its no critics to blame you, but to help to make this beautifull bird better :drinks:

By the way, had a meeting with the Mi-24 at Cottbus Airfield Museum today.

I did another comparison, side view matches quite well.

front cockpit view suggests some differences.

Interesting comparison, the front view actually shows pilot kind of big for the pit.

Anyway for the time being the focus is in the pit because there are so many unfinished parts. and i want to make the optical gunsight in front pit working.

When that is done we may come back and revisit the external model.

At the Dyess airshow this past weekend, we had a Mi-24 on static. I spent a bunch of time with the crew and took some time in each seat. Your model, while very nice in shape and detail, it slightly undersized. I'd estimate, about a 1/3 too small.

I'll post up some pics later tonight. I've got a few with the crew, including the crew chief in the cargo door.

IS anyone able to fly it properly? It goes side to side like If the rudder was broken when I fly it.
