Lockheed / Aeritalia F-104S pack for Strike Fighters 2

 

This mod recreate the 5 variants of the italian version of the Starfighter

 

F-104S CB: Fighterbomber variant with M61A1 gun.

F-104S CI: All weather interceptor variant, no gun and capable of carring 2 AIM-7E and 2 AIM-9B

F-104S-ASA CB: Updated FB variant with better ECM.

F-104S-ASA CI: Updater interceptor variant capable of carring 2 Aspide and 2 AIM-9L missiles and better ECM

F-104S-ASA-M: Last conversion done to keep the aircraft in service till EF-2000 introduction into service. Lighter, with updated avionic and other systems. No ECM or countermeasures and same armament as the ASA-CI version.

You need SF2E to have the stock F-104G

Installation:

 

Simply copy all the files in the respective directory of your game folder.

Same here, trying to find what's up.

Also the CB version seem to have standard G loadouts, instead of increased fuselage pylons. I think the F-104S Fake Pilot models aren't working for me.

Will report any findings via PM, Aleks.

I still use SF2 at Jan2011 standard and no problems. For the tanks I've hidden the now built in ones to permit the carriage of the custom made by me. None of the S models have the additional fuselage pylons since they were never used in operation. Here it was even prohibited to use the catamaran rails for sidewinder because of possible seeker damage.

I think I found the problem with the tanks: (Checked with CB variant)

in aircraft_data.ini:

AMI FuelTankName callouts are missing an underscore.

 

195gal tanks should be: FuelTankName=Tank195F-104_AMI_camo

 

170 gal tank callout is also missing an "L" FuelTankName=Tank170F-104L_AMI_camo

 

Of course the corresponding entries in loadout.ini should be corrected too.

Thank you all guys for the feedback. You all were right on the tank naming issue. I will upload a quick fix for it ASAP and thanks to mikeymead for giving to me all the necessary corrected ini files plus TGA loadouts.
