Nope.. It's a transport built by Avro / Hawker-Siddley during the '60's.... Some are still in service today.....

 

Infact there's a squadron of HS748's stationed in the airfield near my workplace.... They' look awesome during a low level flight...

 

 

By the way Veltro if you don't mind my asking Are you Indian by any chance?

What aircraft is it in the pic above ? looks great..... Kinda looks like a DC-3 but it can't be 'coz DC-3's have semi-retractable landing gear....... i've seen the above aircraft before but i can't quite put my finger on it.... Is it an Ilyushin Il-14 'Crate'?
