NF-5A from an RNA bunch donated to HAF . They were delivered in pristine condition and fully serviced and overhauled in a gorgeous uniform single blueish grey scheme. The most capable A/Bs

Squid, thanks for porn.. I mean pics!!:heat: many of them I haven't seen before.

It would be great If you have any close up pics of the external cockpit area, depicting the stencils(especially the ones in Greek) .

more poooooorn :

Everybody who can type: "F-5 Freedom Fighter" into Google will find something like that.

walkarounds is the thing that gives infos....

Image storys suck, like:

"uh i have an image" ---> POST = SUCKER....

Camos (all side views), pics of stencils & markings count. Nothing against you, but the pics do not really help i think...

PS, look here:

These are clearly not for work reference, hence "porn" and not "material" ;-) Just sharing F-5 visuals i have been personally liking and the multitude of different cool schemes it appeared over the years. Now if you mean i should make a separate thread for that, sure, why not.

I don't have yet any close-ups. No F-5 in my Verlinden editions collection. Obviously i haven't been looking / posting about decals (yet) :-) and squadron / signal hasn't been of much help yet either ( https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xmo1x196x16s891/Qu2_4rFS9v )

^NP Squid, but i think that makes the threat too much off topic.

Example is Stratos question.

The threat´s focus should stay on the makining of an F-5.

But that´s is just my point of view....

Soulfreak, those walkarounds were great!

Thanks to all of you I have most of what I need :salute: I appreciate all of your input .. now I'm getting to the gritty parts like the flap and slat areas (where and how they fit the main wing) There's still plenty to do. Hope to have some in-game pics soon (thankfully it exports fine, just want to finish up some bits before I post ).

To be honest I use photographs as much as possible since technical drawings on this particular aircraft are very difficult to find, so every bit helps. Derk has since sent me some fantastic drawings which I'm using to check the dimensions on the model .. thankfully it's very close but small small modifications will be necessary.

Squid, your pics have been very useful and I'm wondering where the closest F-5 is to where I live (Herakleion, Crete), so that perhaps I could visit this summer to get some real close up shots .. not to mention I'd love to see one for real!!

Thanks again

i maybe have some precise F-5 blueprints too, judging by the progress of the model i took it for granted that you are past that stage and won't need such anymore. Will check when i get home. We have plenty of F-5s here in Thessaloniki but i can't have close up access till November (archangel Michael) except the "Star" decorated Gate Guard at Micra AB. I will check with guys over at e-haf.org for possible F-5s in Crete.

I'm ok with drawings now (worked with poor drawings during modelling and had to rely on good photos; but Derk has already provided me with fantastic drawings). I'm pretty sure there are none on Crete, but would love the chance fto visit Salonica to see them up close .. but .. too little time, too little money :sorry:
