+daddyairplanes Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Pilot is ok though. this leaves us what, 180 flat now? http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/fighter-jet-crashes-florida-air-force-base-17732303
warthog64 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Glad there were no injuries. We need more Raptors! Hopefully 2016 will fix this ; )
+Typhoid Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Glad the pilot is ok. Hope the f-22's last until 2016.............
Lazarus1177 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Thet really need to change the oxygen system.Glad the pilot ejected in time.
thodouras95 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Just heard about this today.Poor Raptor, its troubles seem to have no end.
Nesher Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 glad to hear no one got hurt... damn shame on that Raptor!
Lexx_Luthor Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Something to watch. The number of Rappers is very similar to the number of B-58s made -- and that was a rather limited program.
+JediMaster Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 If the guy ejected in time, it's probably NOT oxygen-related. That said, there are dozens of reasons a plane can be lost. Technical, pilot error, and just plain bad luck (bird strikes, fuel contamination, etc). 1
