New cockpits for WWII planes. As Stary´s back, new office for P-51B, P-47D bubble, F6F, Typhoon car door, Yak-9, Ju 88 and much more are badly needed.

I know I'd love to but I can't splice myself in like 5

that said I think there might be something of WW2 interest in the near future, including some that could work as a good stand-ins ready in fact but we have to decide if parts of one mod can be upload before the full package as it's future is incertain at the moment

I have both the max files for Alexs B-45 (actually an RB-45), and a "flyable" version -- but it needs MAJOR work, both in MAX and in-game. No one has seen him for quite a while.

Our only hope is someone can contact him and have him restart work on it , or allow one of (very) few remaining 3d Gurus to finish it.

as you can see, there's "bits" hanging out. will need a template, and new skins as well

dang that is lovely model!

I think the plane fixes wouldn't be that much if we keep it ally/enemy AI only bomber akin to say Il-28 (thought that one has my custom cockpit)

don't look at me I promised some good folks here stuff that will keep me occupied till 2016, not to mention my own work I would like to kick outta door

I'd love to see some Polish aircraft. We have most of the German types we would need for a decent polish campaign but we only have one for the Polish side.

Gents, as stated in the very 1st post of this thread ... we need to find REPLACEMENT FREEWARE aircraft.

Let me redefine that ...

aircraft that are freely available to the entire community, with no strings attached, to replace those produced by the DAT; said DAT aircraft being not truly "freely available to all and with unrestricted use", and not just available to a select few.

Aircraft that had significant use by the major powers of WW2, both Allied and Axis. This does NOT include "what if" or non-production prototypes. We have an entire forum dedicated to fantasy and sci-fi modding. Take those requests there, if you please.

Many CA members don't have, can't have or have been denied access to said "products", including recently myself (got the boot from them for speaking the truth).

I have 24 3ds MAX files from Cocas for some of the needed aircraft. Unfortunately I'm not a MAX guy. And those that can, are fully booked with their own projects. We REALLY do need more modelers. For those of us that are the main source of mods for our WW2 flying/gaming hobby, this IS the major point of contention.

So, let's try and keep this thread on track ... shall we?

And volunteers to pickup Daniel's work are welcome to contact me.

CL, you're forgetting the J & H SPADs are stock 3W aircraft with SF2:V!!!

the EA-6A exists as a mod of the stock Intruder, iirc for 1stGens. But it may lack the tail pod (easily added via fake pilot)

I thought I'd get greedy within some practical limits.

New ones because, and non 3W so the skin / maps / inis don't get messed up on a new patch.

Also I forgot the EC-121 / Willie Victor for College Eye that is way worth sniveling for our South East Asia addiction.

This should be an easy one. It appears we have 99.85% of the airplane all ready.

HC-97G Stratofrieghter. They supported the Gemini space program and SAR missions in South East Asia in the 1960s.

Interesting. It appears some where painted ADC grey and others stayed bare metal.

I'm thinking SPADs escorting and HU-16s would be part of their show after the PJs jump.

if we had an Hu-16, we'd need 3 new pilot figures .. ones that look like George Cakaris, Richard Widmark, and Yul Brenner!!

Ball caps or no O2 brain buckets ?

If we get Sean Penn, Jimmy Buffet, Justin Bieber or Hunter Thompson, and a Wooky with the the HU-16 and PBM I won't complain much at first.
