The Malaysian PM has now said the systems were deliberately shut down one by one on the flight and they're now extending a search zone as far North as Kazakhstan, and as far South as the Indian ocean West off Western Australia. I'm waiting for them to find the plane and perform a full official investigation before I believe anything the press is writing or anyone is saying it's weird no doubt, but patience is much wiser in this case..
