With 'virgin' non-merged clean and patch game JUL 13, aircraft in Object files etc., not available in the game aircraft screen.

What can I be doing wrong?

Frustrated

I really appreciate the response that you here make.

I present to you the recent F4J upgrade to SF2, SF2E and SF2v.

Really thought that it would present in the game.

Many thanks for your time.

The F-4J is a stock aircraft in SF2 and SF2 vietnam. It should be present in the flyable aircraft list if you have SF2 or SF2 Vietnam.

Could there be an issue with the "AIRCRAFTOBJECT.INI" not being read correctly?

There is no need to edit the aircraftobject.ini with any of the SF2 titles.

Monts later, I return without results in getting SF2 aircraft to appear on the single mission load screen.

My last recent attempt was the TU-95, Buccaneer-S2B_1989, AH-64A. Relivant files appear in the 'Objects' files.

Help is appreciated.

A little question, are you placing the add on aircraft in the "C:\Users\UsersName\Saved Games\ThirdWire" or the main SF2 folder at "C:\Program Files (x86)\ThirdWire\Strike Fighters 2"? They should be in the former and not the later. Also maybe you could show us a screen shot of your Mods folder so we could better figure out what is wrong.

have you tried reading the readmes??? They tell you exactly where to place the aircraft. (or other object to be installed).

For example,

= TO INSTALL:

As I always reccomend, unzip the "sf2_usaf-50s-c47_skinpak.zip" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find

Then, simply, copy/paste the Objects folder supplied directly =OVER= your existing /Objects folder in whichever mods folder you're installing this to.

Copy/Paste the Sound folder over your existing /Sounds folder.

Allow Overwrite when prompted.

3rd party add-ons ALWAYS go into the Mods folder

I do not know how to send the file structure.

C:\SIMS Folder\Strike Fighters 2 GOOD FRIDAY 012315 JUL13\Objects

Aircraft

Decals

GroundObject

Guns

Pilotdata

Weapons

I also have:

C:\SIMS Folder\Strike Fighters 2E VIRGIN 081915 GOOD JUL13\Objects

Aircraft

Decals

GroundObject

Guns

Pilotdata

Weapons

Does this help?

I apologize, I am not really literate in SF2.

Thank you

Otto
