What do you say about this plane ? is anyone interested ?  I might have it in the future plans if I get at least 100 hits of approval.

Yessss!!!! for my part I totally agree .... it is an important aircraft very popular in several forces and with many variants that allows several future mods

I have some personal issues with this damn plane, but it would be great if it was available ingame so i could crash it into stuff. The thing is, objectively speaking, it is a very good plane.

It was actually with the C-295, since they stopped using CN-235s for paradrops before i got in and these were put to work with not-living cargo only, but yes, more or less. I was so happy with the C-130, and then "Hey, look, T.21s (C-295) are so comfortable, and jumping from the ramp is so much better than jumping from the side door" No issues with the boundary layer dragging your teeth across the fuselage. I had a watch with air superiority grey paint scratched from a C-130, so it was a legitimate concern.

Well, screw ramps. The issue is i got scared shitless /air sick/ freaked out jumping from the ramp, even if i was perfectly OK hanging out in the side door waiting for the green light in a C-130. With the ramp, i would always flinch, then slip, fall on my ass, have my MG bouncing against my head, smash knees and elbows on the floor, or any combination of the former.

Everyone else was cool, and they were better for the specific job in most senses than C-130, they could drop the sticks tighter, less incidents, more comfort, stability, you name it...it was just that i hated it.

Wow, it must've been dreadful. I am sorry man you had trouble with these ramps. Well , when you said "jump" did you mean the plane was airborne or it was just parked on the airstrip ? If it was in air , man falling or stumbling there on the ramp I guess can be fatal for some, but if it was on the ground level, well it's a different story. But , of course you can break an ankle even from half of a meter high when you jump and you're not paying attention. Nice chatting with you.

I used to be a paratrooper but then i took a...bull to the shoulder. That's another story.

The ramp is actually better, objectively speaking, in terms of safety. You just drop, the canopy opening is smoother, fewer odds of entanglement and so on. The issue is i was (am) an smart ass and volunteered knowing full well I was (am) afraid of heights. It is more neurological than psychological actually, as perspective can make your instincts rebel against it like with say, putting out a match with your bare fingers. I had no issue standing in the door to the side, but for some reason, the view from the ramp triggered me, literally made my legs weak. You just swallow your feelings and carry on, but your reflexes betray you.

I know what you are saying exactly. The self-preservation kicks in when your brain considered that something is dangerous (the reptilian brain, they say that we inherited from dinosaurs, meaning that we sense the danger when it's close instinctively). When I was young and joined the army like any other young people in my country, I was presented to the occasion to join the paratroopers, but , instinctively I refused, I knew from others' stories that jumping from a plane was there mandatory. After serving 9 months in the infantry, I winded up regreting it, the food was better there LOOOL

Nah, you were better off this way. They would never do anything if they didn't get the better side of the deal.
