Hello All...  Back in 2015, Talking to JAT81500 and dtmdgradon, we were discussing the issue that I felt would be nice if we can fixed it.  That is the outer pylon on all the Team Viper F-16s are angle incorrectly.  If anyone can take the time to fix the angle of the outer pylon that would be great!

barring a completely new model somewhere i dont think it will be coming anytime soon.

not trying to speak for folks, but the ones with the max files for the Team Viper work are either not really active in SF2 anymore, or rather restricted on availability

not to mention no modder of any discipline will make just one fix unless its in the intial version or very close when it was released.

 i mean hell, this was to bring one of HrntFixr's old skins to current SF2 standards. its since expanded to the whole 23d Wing, two wings in USAFE completed and 20 ANG squadrons in progress! :lol:

again, not trying to speak for others. just saying i wouldnt hold breath on it.

if anyone has better pics of the snake on the fuselage, i'd be appreciative. this one is a vector art that looked close to teh pics, then traced, chopped up and rearranged until it was close.

That's great. Love to see 2-searers. I wonder what kind of mischief the guys in the cockpit did to deserve a no-seat-flight punishment. Technicians must have been mad at them.😀

There actually are seats, but you can't see them from that Point of View. :biggrin:

This is how it is...no one would notice ever I bet. until one guy will spot a thing and has to brag bout it on an open forum..so everyone can see crap.:biggrin:

 

not to mention my SR-71 refueling screenie years ago, and some KC fetish pointing out that this squadron never passed gas for blackbirds. :ty:

Ive been looking for a hotfix for the pylon angle problem some time ago (Feb 2016 says my test bed file F-16CM_B52 data ini) :blink:
Ive added a new component with new systems. The systems are flaps with a permanent angle which moves the offending pylon/launcher.
IIRC, that worked as advertised :biggrin:  but did not for the launcher/towed decoy combo mesh on several F-16 variants. Perhaps a hierarchy issue or something else.
The weapon attachment angles require edits to match the "flapped" pylon/launcher angle

Ive attached my modified testbed file - note that the "PylonAngles" component lacks entries like MassFraction=0 and perhaps another thing or two (FM experts to consult)

if you havent noticed most of what im working on is historical skin appearance. predominantly bringing units in as they were in the 90s (which is about the peak in game for avionics performance outside the Block 52s), not the  plethora of early 2000s to mid 2010s that we have now. bout done with the Air National Guard, but  i still am looking at about 20-25 more skins (staying almost entirely on F-16C/D)

its OCD i tell ya....
