Hi Torno,

Very nice aircraft. About the wingfold pylon trouble, like above Cliff and Crusader mentioned it could be a pivot issue of the pylons. I guess the naval Flanker shares the same pylons like the released 27.
On the bellow pic it is more visible what they are talking about. When the game applies the rotate/moving pylon constrains then it tries to maintain the Y(toward the nose), X (spanvise) and Z(vertical) pivots orientation. On the pic the pylons 90 degrees off from their correct orientation. Y axis is green, X axis is red and Z axis is blue in games default (bottom right large pivot symbol). If you un-link the pylons from the wing, apply X-form reset, that should reorient these to the correct way, then link them back and that should solve the issue you are having.

Based on the picture, the wingtip missile pylons actually face toward the correct way, if you load those with missiles then with the moving/ratating pylon=true settings on the weaponstations those should stay on their correct positions in game. Using those as a guidance you can correct the other pivots without much problem. (Don't forget to save any changes before application of X-form reset).

Nice bird what you guys made!

thanks Logan4 , the supports were never the problem, I tried everything until I changed the folding wing pibot and there was the problem, the fixing points moved a meter later but nothing that cannot be solved from the DATA INI

sincere regards! can you set the frontmost pitot tube of the su-30 as a standalone node so we can edit out some variants like J-16 by hiding it.

just asking, you have the right to make decisions about your own mods~

Nose gear is different too - single wheel on the Su-27UB and 2 wheels on the Su-30.

The number of pylons under the wings is also different - Su-27UB does not have the innermost pylons (see the picture below, the innermost pylons in the Su-30 drawing are loaded with red Kh-29 missiles):

Not entirely true. The early Indian AF Su-30s( Su-30K/MK) , like the Su-27UB ad a a single wheel on the nose gear and three weapon stations on each wing. These early Indian Su-30s in the mid-2000s were bought back by Russia and the squadron that flew them converted to Su-30MKIs.

These ex-IAF SU-30K/MKs were upgraded to Su-30KN standards and most of them are now in service with the Angolan Air Force.

So would versions of the SU-30 IAF and Angola be correct based on the UB Torno model?  :rolleyes:mmmm there I see a new mod

No. The Su--27UB has it's IRST on the centre, while on the Su-30 series, it is offset to starboard

That is not a real problem in this SU-27 and in this simulator... fixable detail

Wow!!!Can't wait. Great to see Thrust vectoring modelled. There's a great book titled Su-30 in Indian service written by the late Phil Camp. It is a wonderful reference on SU-30MKIs. Here's my copy

Sir,

Recently, based on your SU27mod, I adjusted the skin, data and loadout, and converted it to the active SU-27P painting of the Ukrainian Air Force, and matched it with the AGM88 in the exposure picture. Since the changed part is not just the skin, please, Can I fully package the mod and upload it?
I will credit you as the original creator and put a link to the original mod to show the original mod's attribution.

sincerely,

Following are a few previews of it (the last two are reference photos in reality):
