I try to be as accurate as possible and am glad others assist and redirect me as I get lost! @swambastYou say 'Nam Combat Movers.... I did these just for "What-If" fun...... F-100D's of the 1st, 22nd, and 602nd Special Operations Squadrons, 56th Special Operations Wing 1968..... I believe the original A-1H skins are from @Trotski. I just wanted something for fun and back to my Air Commando Days!

Great information.... I have several photos identified as being taken in 1965 which shows ANG units still wearing Air Guard Markings which is what caused my confusion..... This one says 1961....so you'd be correct. This photo was in 1965-1966 time frame so I'm inclined to believe you. Guess an update is in order for this package!

Thank you for this tip, I didn't think about that.

I think @yakarov79 might have created a monster when he released his F-100 Vietnam Package! Cleaning up and redoing F-100C's of the 4th Fighter Day Wing located at Seymour-Johnson, NC. The 4th was made up of the 333rd, 334th, 335th, and 336th Fighter Day Squadrons all operating the F-100C in 1957 through 1960 when they transitioned into the F-105B Thunderchiefs. Still need to tweak tail numbers, nose, and tail stripes. Requarding the Squadron Patches under the canopy, I've seen a few pictures with them and several without so I'm not entirely sure which direction I will go with these yet.

That is amazing! Looking forward to this…..

This one is just for me.....I named one of the _68 birds "Ruby" after my Grandmother who passed away while I was working on this package. Thought it was simple and yet elegant, just like her.

No, data and pictures for most, if not all of all of the ANG Huns operators received their Huns in Air Force Marking in 1961 and the unit specific markings such as the "red swoosh" came along 1964-65 time frame before going to USAF SEA Camo during the 68 time frame due to mobilizations to support the Active Duty operations. It makes sense considering most aircraft coming from the Active Duty side aren't up to the Air National Guard markings standards till some time after arrival at their squadrons. This was also supported by 184th crew members I spoke with.

@pappychksixLove the look of the Thud....it would look good in the SEA Camo Scheme with 184th TFTG Markings! But for now, I'll focus on the Hun....

Thank you to @yakarov79, the 1965 Skin is completed! I need to tweak the tail numbers for it but as a whole this one looks great! Getting close to having everything done.
