  3. View File 125th TFS F-100D/F's 1973-1978 This features skins for the 125th TFS of the Oklahoma Air National Guard located at Tulsa International Airport; which operated the F-100D and F's from 1973-1979. I have included new .lods for the YAP-RW F-100F which now allows the skins to be in .jpg format, making for smaller file size. Finally, I modified the F-100F data ini to hide the Wild Weasel antennas and RWR on the YAP-RW F-100F, giving it a cleaner look for normal F model use. Included: - (14) F-100D_68 Tail Numbers for the 125th's (3) Flights - (4) F-100F Tail Numbers for the 125th's (3) Flights - modified YAP-RW F-100F .LOD, .lod002, .lod003, and .lod004 to allow skins do be saved in .jpg format - modified YAP-RW F-100F data ini hiding antennas and RWR Required: Original stock SF2 or other SF variation which includes the F-100D_68 aircraft YAP-RW F-100F Credits: Thirdwire - original F-100D_68 model YAP-RW - F-100F model and their permission allowing me to use/modify/release their original work yakarov79 - Excellent Super Sabre Vietnam Package and F-100D template. 6. Think I'm nearly complete with this package....I reached out to YAP-RW regarding the modification I made to their .lod and am awaiting their response.
  7. Trying to see if anyone might know of any other F-100D/F's of the 125th TFS? I've identified the following: One's with a * next to the color of Tail Stripe, I have been able to verify the color by pictures. The other Tail Numbers, I've identified by picture but cannot identify the color of tail stripe. I appreciate any additional information anyone can share.
  8. I believe I have the F model setup the way I want it now so it's time to start focusing on the D model and tail numbers for both D and F's. Here's the first of the tail numbers....still need to tweak the skin a bit.
  9. It's always the one you don't see that gets ya!
  10. I’ve thought about that as well but am using this as a learning experience since I don’t know how to model aircraft from scratch.
  11. I’m doing research to see which antennas I should keep and which ones I should hide. The issue so far I’ve seen is in any given group of F models, they all seem to have different setups regarding their antennas. So I think I’ll have to simply choose one configuration close to all of them and leave it at that.
  12. @daddyairplanesyour ANG skins work with the most recent YAP F-100F lod; dated 5/5/2026. I've updated it with the Hex Editor to allow the skins to be jpg format....thanks @Wrench! But I couldn't stop there..... I noticed how the F model had all of the Wild Weasel equipment still so I started tinkering and hiding things through the Data file. Before hiding the APR-25 bumps, antennas and Receiver: Afterwards: Nothing fancy but makes these F model Huns look a little less like a Weasel!
  13. 'Slick Chick' got peppered slightly.......
  14. @daddyairplanesI noticed YAP-RW released a new F-100F lod dated 5/5/2026, I'm going to play around with it and see if your ANG skins will show properly on it.......thanks to @Wrench looks like I may have opened a can of worms!
  15. I apparently got it to work! Thanks @Wrench for this!
  16. My lod date is 2/9/2007. I got it from daddyairplanes ANG Pack. Like this?
  17. Good question....but I have a question, How do I try this?!
  18. From Thuds to Phantoms.....On August 7th, 1979 the 127th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 184th Tactical Fighter Group Kansas Air National Guard received their first F-4D Phantom II and began their transition from the F-105D/F Thunderchiefs.
  19. Enroute to the target....
  20. On today's episode...... So apparently just because the tail and wing textures are saved in .jpg format doesn't mean the fuselage can be as well! everything is working fine now.......
  21. This particular insignia shows just fine in game….though I am thinking about adding it to the skin as well just simply to reduce decals.
  22. While working on the Tulsa F models, I noticed there's some bleed through on the bottom of the aircraft. I tracked it down to the 125th TFS Patch on the front fuselage under the canopy and the stars and bars on the side of the fuselage. This is also seen on other F models using similar decal set ups; as seen on this Missouri bird. My solution to correct this was to put the 125th patch and star and bars on the skin and not using decals. Progress is still ongoing.....
  23. I think the decals look good on the family models as well! Will start on the tail numbers soon for both the D's and F's.
  24. Tweaked and re-positioned the tail-bands and ANG Shields based on photos. The 125th TFS had an unique way of displaying the tail numbers on their D/F's as shown on this F Model:
  25. Thank you for this, I'll add these to my excel sheet. It's hard to find official information showing every AC assigned to a unit but I'll give it a go!
