  1. Yes of course, that why I posted the tip. It's a spelling mistake by default. Nothing to do with the FM mod...
  2. I think that OFF : "Rise of Kanvas Knights of the Sky" would be even better...
  3. Thanks for the answer and support Winder! Just a heads up for anyone that ever wants to fly with Jasta 37, Ace skin of Kurt Grasshof is misspelled by default in OFF! That's why it's not showing in Campaign... To address this go to: (Your sim folder) > campaigns > CampaignData > skins and rename: off_Alb_DV_later_Ace_t_Jasta 37 1917_Kurt_Grasshoff.dds to: off_Alb_DV_later_Ace_t_Jasta 37 1917_Kurt_Grasshof.dds
  4. Thanks for the heads up! I've been following this thread for long... There is a video of the first production plane testing engine, outside the hangar... but I have to search for it... PS: didn't find video only pics...
  5. I'm afraid I don't...JFM is more qualified to answer to that... Here is another James Dietz WiP painting, prepared for the same event: Hats in the Ring
  6. If you look on the picture above, (just below the Generic Mod Enabler version inscription), you'll see that the MODS directory is the same for me... I'm running Windows 7 32bit...
  7. As James posted at The Aerodrome: These two paintings are to be hung side by side at the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance. Each is 26" x52 "& take up quite a space when framed... Color Guard: View from the Chateau: Awesome, isn't it?
  8. Great shot indeed! Those shadows look great and the play with color and "grayscale"...perfect combination! Good luck on the new Career...
  9. That's funny...as it seems, I don't have any overrides whatsoever, in my enabled mods, (with everything enabled)...
  10. What do you mean? Everything works fine with all mods disabled... I did a fresh install this morning and tested it, before I enable any mods. Everything works fine with only the FM mod disabled also... I don't even have to quit game to see the difference! I exit the campaign without leaving game, enabe or disable the mod and in my next sortie I have or have not aces skins accordingly... Simple as that...
  11. I'm testing Jasta 37, Albatros D.V (later), Sept.'17, (FM mod on = no-aces) Also tested Jasta 28, Albatros D.III OAW, Aug.'17, (FM mod on = no-aces) I have a specific thread on that... I also tried Olham's configuration: FM mods on - DM mod off, again no aces!
  12. This is Winder's reply at my Jasta 37-no aces thread: http://combatace.com/topic/66351-jasta-37-campaign/ Thanks for the answers HPW! Looking forward to see what you'll come up with the emergency landings thing... Having my fingers crossed... for the aces skins "bug" also, as I now have the FMs disabled and only the DM mod running... PS: HW, I did a complete re-install and nothing happened...
  13. I have seen the "bail out", without any fire or smoke... Never seen that before, but I thought that control cables must be ripped off and the plane is becoming uncontrollable, thus the pilot bails out...(CFS3 leftover). Just a thought, HPW is more qualified to answer though...
  14. Thanks, Winder! Any chance to override this security check, for offline play only?
  15. I have to report a possible bug with the FM mod. I don't know how to call it or how to address it, but with the FM mod on, the aces skins are not showing in my Campaigns! (at least for my squad)... Once I disable the mod the aces skins are back... Any ideas?
  16. New report. I'm afraid that my efforts were in vain and the new installation was not really needed. I started a new Jasta 37 Campaign with my fresh install. Aces skins were showing all right, exept from Kurt Grasshof's one, (game was using the default Jasta 37 one). Believing that my problem is solved and such a glitch can be considered minor, I modded my game.with my usual mods. HPW's FM and DM mods, Creaghorn's sound tweak II, Blechley's mission mods, my own tracers and spandau sound mods and that's it. Entering again my Campaign and the aces skins were gone and replaced by the Jasta's default ones. It must have been some Mod... I disabled the last one added before noticing the problem in my old installation, (HPW German FM mod) and voila! The skins were back again. Furthermore I enabled my new Jasta 37 1917 skinpack via JSGME and the skins were showing all right, (well except that Grasshof's skin that wasn't showing from the beginning anyway). No one has ever notice such conflict with the FM mod? I tried to enable it back but since I do it, I'm loosing the aces skins! Now what?
  17. I kind or re-installed, (used the repair option, as was recommended by the installer)...But still... the problem remains...no aces skins in Campaign, (I did a full installation with all the skins included). I checked in the workshops, overrides if there is an option to prevent aces skns to show, ticked, but there wasn't any. Now trying the replace option,(full re-installation)! Let' see what will happen... (I also had to install again CFS3, from the CDs and patch it to v.3.1).
  18. The planes were delivered in factory finish at front units and Jasta markings, were all painted on field. It's not easy to find such a thesaurus of so high quality pictures on line! I knew about WnW site, but thanks anyway, Olham!
  19. That's a good idea Scout, if it could be realised it would be great! I want to ask if something else FM wise can be addressed: Emergency landings! You are trying to land a damaged plane, sometimes with a wingtip lost or shot up and have to counter this with aileron and rudder input. You manage to touch down gently in minimum speed, but the plane although taxing, still behaves like flying and the drug forces the plane to tip on the damaged wing and explodes, no matter how gently you managed to land. Or if the undercarriage is somehow damaged, it collapses in touchdown, again no matter how gentle the approach is, and instead of keeping on with a belly crash landing the plane explodes immediately and you dead! Is anything to be done for that? It's kind of frustrating when it happens!
  20. I don't think it's a new "bug", though... I have noticed this happening, before the ultimate DM mod.
  21. Not much really, 22,55 hours, 13 confirmed victories. I made a report of his last mission in the "reports from the front" thread... I tried both the reset options with no results, unfortunately... This problem must have been occurred earlier, I just noticed it now, I think... Even in my Jasta 23 Campaign, I don't recall seeing the distinctive Kissenberth's scheme lately... However I remember downing a British ace in a Spad VII, with a personal scheme, (olive green fuselage while all the other Spads were clear doped), In my Jasta 37 Campaign. So it seems only the player's Sqn is affected from lack of aces skins... I don't know, I had put my hopes on the Reset option and to tell the truth I'm a bit reluctant to reinstall everything again!
  22. OK, thanks! I don't really mind for the pilots after loosing my serious Jasta 23b pilot in Sunday. The others have more or less a couple of hours flying time each, not a big loss anyway...
  23. OK, but there must be something else than the skins themselves..(BTW, I don't have any extra ace skin created). I started a new Campaign with Jasta 28w, (never joined them before or ever messed with their skins). Again only the default skin shows up... Do you think I should reinstall or what?
  24. It's not the first time I ever make or install a skin in OFF... I have never encounter such a problem before... The names must be OK, as I've overwritten the originals, (after I copied them first in a back up folder). Can you do me a favour, give my skins, a try, (most part is yours actually) and see what will happen in your Campaign... Even if I messed up with the names, why when I restored back the originals and started a brand new Campaign, the problem remained? Skins withdrawn due to update.
