  1. I haven't played OFF for a long time now... (I thought WOFF release was closer) Nice opportunity to test your new FM version. Have you noticed any anomalies with the aces skins like previous versions?
  2. Team D is Team Daedalus that took over the development of IL-2 1946, after Maddox Games abandoned the project. They have released a couple of patches since then, including new planes and the improved AI behaviour among others. The latest patch is v. 4.11 In notice that you have to check the compatibility of Mods to add on because the recent Team D patches are kind of Mod unfriendly. (HSFX 6.0 is compatible with 4.11 I think, but I haven' played IL-2 for a year or so...) Some online action with HSFX 6.0
  3. I thought that the sequel would have been the Med but... Another Eastern front! I bought the game last Xmas in a very smart price. Some very nice aspects but overally more kind of beta than a finished project. I haven't tried it since the latest patch, though...
  4. Great news, Thanks Jim! I have ordered the book along with the "Black Fokker Leader" on Karl Degelow.
  5. Thanks ikon71! You are doing a great job with those Sea Harrier skins ianh755. I see you have addressed some mapping errors of the old model, isn't it? I did the skins and decals for the Falklands Mod and remember having a hard time with the nose section and the warping on the intakes. I could send you what I have if you want...(not everything made it into the final Campaign) plus a couple of detailed pilot skins for the Falklands period...
  6. It was me who asked, actually... Thanks, I'll keep working on that project. That setting sun looks just gorgeous! Is that a Mod available for it? One more from Suez '56 And a collection of pilot skins I'm working on for the same theatre
  7. Wow, looks great...although I would prefer a slightly more subtle riveting effect... Could be metal rippling be portrayed? I've been experimenting with clouds lately. Combining Stary's environment system (SARCASM 1.3) with some textures I had from an older Mod...(was it ShrikeHawk's)? In many cases Stary's textures look awesome, but sometimes they look unnatural, like they don't really blend into the environment. Also don't like pink and blue tinted clouds mixed up in Stary's textures. These textures are 512x512 and might look kind of blurry close up but, IMO they blend better... Do you think it's worthwhile?
  8. Your "ground" screens Soulfreak, are simply awesome! 804 NAS, Operation Musketeer, Suez 1956. Emergency landing with missing landing gear: Peppered by flak and aproaching: You couldn't have known from the inside, though: Touchdown: Unfortunately, emergency landings like this are not survivable in SF2 World! I wish such a feature will be implemented, although I doubt it... Here is a real emergency landing from the same period:
  9. Thanks for the answers guys! Eric, before updating the Suez Mod send me a PM. I'm preparing a pilot pack for it.
  10. The Suez Mod and the SF2V Air and Ground War Mod comes into mind. Any plans to be updated to SF2: NA Standard? (populated Carriers etc.)
  11. Is it some kind of warping involved? The bars seem not having the same thickness... My mandatory screenshot, a Sea Hawk FGA. 6 featuring my new RN pilot. (Mk1b helmet originally by X-Ray, modified by me, from our combined and never finished Israeli pilots pack).
  12. Thanks guys! I hadn't played SF2 for a while... I'm also playing a MiG-17 N.Vietnamese career with Stary's cockpit with no problem whatsoever.. I remember having that problem in the past, I just thought it was solved... BTW, I've made some pilot skins for the Suez Mod.
  13. Fantastic skins, thanks! Having a problem with my Mods Folder... The game every time it loads updates the F-84F.ini file and I can't see the plane as flyable in game.
  14. Hope so...(+1 small contribution).
  15. Having great fun with Formosa, right now. I surely would love some more...
